Plas Penaeldroch Manor is a delightful retreat nestled in the picturesque landscape of Snowdonia National Park. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional, with the manor's charming blend of historical elegance and modern comfort. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The breathtaking views of the Lledr Valley from our suite were a highlight, making our mornings truly special. The on-site restaurant offered delicious breakfasts and barista coffees!
Mike and Carrie were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect.
One of the most memorable aspects of our visit was the warm welcome extended to our entire family. Plas Penaeldroch Manor is wonderfully pet-friendly, and our children were thrilled to play with Lola, the manor's friendly dog, who quickly became a favorite companion. The manor's location is ideal for exploring the natural beauty of North Wales, and we enjoyed several scenic walks in the surrounding area. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a welcoming atmosphere made our stay at Plas Penaeldroch Manor truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this charming hotel for anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Stunning location, surrounded by the slate hills. The staff were very accommodating considering we arrived very late (2am). The beds were comfortable enough and the pillows were great. The room was massive, there were four of use sharing and plenty of space. Didn't hear any noise from outside and the room temp was perfect. Went to a cafe across the road for breakfast on the Sunday morning and it was brill, really nice place and good food.

This hotel is a local hidden gem in Snowdonia, I would fully recommend visiting when in the local area. Mike and Carrie are superb hosts, fully accommodating and their journey is amazing. The Gorge down the river is truly magical and worth the walk. Rooms are spacious and having a full suite is even better with all new facilities. looking forward to the summer and seeing the progress on the rear of the building. fully deserved rating and will be visiting again.

Highly recommend staying here.
Highly recommend staying here.
Staff were very helpful - we had to check-in to our room late and they were very accommodating in arranging this for us. The room was ideal for our needs - 4 of us. Bathrooms were shared - these were lovely, very modern. There was also a sink in our room. Bedsheets/linen provided. The place was very clean. There was a shared kitchen and lounge area, which was very comfy, with a variety of games and books. Ample, free, parking on the property. We stayed here prior to climbing Snowdon and the location was great for this - only a short drive away. Exceptionally good, especially for the price!

Clean and comfortable throughout with a shared kitchen and common room. Roughly 15-20 minutes walk from Ponty- Pant rail station..

The photos really do not do this property any justice. The cottage is stunning and is located in a beautiful area. The owners were always on hand for everything and made us feel very welcome. We will be back! We were there during a storm which caused a powercut for the whole area, and we were offered extra wood for the stove, food, drinks, blankets, etc, and kept updated with what was happening.
It was warm and completely private, exactly what we wanted for our first visit to Snowdonia (and Wales for that matter).
We are from Scotland and it reminded us of the quietness of the Highlands. Beautiful place and lovely thoughtful owners.
Also, parking was excellent, large space within the property which felt great after the suspenseful drive up the narrow road.
What a lovely place to stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
They gave us a brilliant information pack when we arrived and were able to advise us on good places to eat nearby.
Our rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again.
The well equipped and comfortable cottage was in a beautiful location. There were good walks available from the door and it was ideally situated to explore the surrounding areas. Snowdonia, Anglesey, Llangollen, Llandudno and Portmeirion all within easy reach. Lots of restaurants in nearby Betws-Y-Coed.
it’s in a good location and the rooms was very clean and tidy. There was coffe and tea in the rome, some fruit, chocolate and even gummy bears. Amazing host, very friendy. Breakfast was super nice and tasty.
Big parking next to hotel and nice area.
It was a nicely located hotel in a quite village.
Full English breakfast was good, and we also enjoyed our evening meals.
Room was clean and had a beautiful view of the mountains and valley.
Were looked after very well - thank you Helen.
Location was great, beautiful scenery, driving distance to a range of activities in Snowdonia & walking distance to shop and local pub. Plenty of parking and privacy. Cottage was clean and cozy. Host was super friendly. 10/10. Loved it.
It was a wonderful quaint, country hotel with a warm welcome and we were pleased with breakfast and the general
ambience of the hotel. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it as a venue to explore Snowdonia.
Elen's House Hotel was in a good location for the places that we had chosen to visit during our stay. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good.
The room was clean and had the facilities that we needed.
It had everything to make it a home from home and the hosts even provided bread & milk on arrival. Ty Nain was comfortable, warm and in a good location to explore all round Snowdonia and North Wales.
this property was excellent. location good, close to zip world, Betws-y-coed, coast. pubs in village(we didn’t eat out though) well equipped kitchen, loads of board games provided, spare towels.
Lovely clean modern room. Far exceeded what I was expecting for the price, definitely more 'hotel' than 'hostel'! I would definitely stay here again for a visit to Snowdon.
Excellent location for the whole of Snowdonia.
Well appointed cottage with all equipment and amenities that anyone would need.
Reliable wi-fi.
Excellent bath and shower.
The place was in a perfect spot, not to far from the local pub. Hosts we're very nice and welcoming. For a weekend away it was to short of a stay needed more time there.
Fantastic place. Highly recommended. The cottage is stunning, and all amenities are met. Very peaceful and within driving distance to the snowdonia region
