The apartment was spotlessly clean, it was beautifully decorated and honestly the bed/pillows were the comfiest I've ever experienced away from home. We had a wonderful time, it's centrally located and easy to find. We loved the apartment and we shall be back. Breakfast was perfect too. Book now, you won't be disappointed!

The street Yelfs hotel is in is possibly the busiest and most central street in Ryde and convenient for restaurants.
Of course you do have the noise of the Hovercraft and very noticeable in the hotel.

Traditional seaside resort.
Traditional seaside resort. The pubs were rough and ready but friendly.
Great place to stay with easy access to other parts of the island via an excellent bus service.
The journey to the ferry terminal is difficult due to the suspension of the rail service.
So for some this would require a taxi.

Enjoyed Ryde very much the walk along the front is lovely nice view on a nice day of Portsmouth. The beach is very good and clean and there are sufficient toilet facilities. The public transport in Ryde is excellent and all parts of the island are easily reached. There are lots of shops but no big names, eating out was good there was plenty of choice available. Over all we enjoyed our stay very much.

Good selection of shops all main attractions not to far away can’t really find anything negative to say about the area if I had to find fault the only thing I would say is the local council should make sure their parking meters are working

Very nice area.
Very nice area. Right in the middle of the town and tourist attractions. Favourite place: Appley beach and the town itself. You can easily get around the area from the town to their beach by walking or car.

The apartment is in a quiet residential area, so we all slept well. Views from the apartment are amazing. We loved watching the ships on the Solent. Location was really good, close walk to beach and shops etc. The local beaches were lovely. Not overcrowded and safe for kids to play on. Ryde itself is ok, not to dissimilar to most UK towns but has the bonus of being by the sea. Some great places to eat i.e Ada Mediterranean Kitchen and Michaelangelo Italian Restaurant. Would avoid the Pavilion and The Ryde Castle Pub.
Amazing hotel. Exceptional staff. Room was lovely, had a great sea view. Huge bathroom with masses of hot water and decent sized towels. Very clean in all areas of the hotel. Ate in the pub two nights. Great selection, beautifully cooked and prepared and served quickly. Breakfast was plentiful, again beautifully cooked, hot and served quickly. Cannot fault the staff and cleanliness of this hotel. Thank you to all staff for another lovely stay.
A traditional and well run hotel, right on Ryde Esplanade. We had a lovely large double room, very comfortable bed too. Which made a change, as we had stayed in several other hotels round the island with incredibly uncomfortable mattresses. Nice bar downstairs. Really great staff, very attentive and so helpful, we had a great stay.
Lovely hotel staff were really nice me and my partner stayed here for one night room was big and spacious clean bed was comfy breakfast was really nice will definitely stay again when go to the Isle of wight again
