The view from the room was spectacular.Cleanliness of this small hotel and friendliness of staff, with turndown service (with biscuits and prosecco on our last evening) was a nice touch.
The quality of the beds and linen was of a very good standard. The small shower room was modern and efficient
The buffet breakfast had lots of choice with fresh produce.
The location was good, right on the coast road so some road noise but lots of fishing boats, yachts etc .to watch .
Nearby were a choice of restaurants and bars with the main square a 15 minutes walk away. Close to the ferry to Luxouri, which is frequent and inexpensive ( car and/or foot passenger)
We enjoyed it so much we booked another night and would definitely stay there again

Immaculately clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice view of the square and an amazingly tasty and varied breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in the bathroom too. Staff were very professional and friendly and were immaculately presented in their uniforms.

Argostoli is the most relaxing town , lovely harbour , great restaurants and bars . We love to walk and walked to the beach daily in lassi two beach bars beautiful soft sand and clear aqua blue water . Spectacular views . Great shops and overall one of the best Greek islands to visit . If you hire a car Assos and Fiskado are a must to visit , well worth the drive

There are several pleasant walks from the town. Head out to the Venetian lighthouse and beyond and find the moving memorial to the Italian soldiers killed on the island. On the promenade spot the loggerhead turtles eating the fishermen's cast off fish. Pleasant main square and shopping street, and loads of cafes and restaurants. Buzzy place and friendly.

Argostoli is an attractive port town with a picturesque bridge and some excellent restaurants - our favourites were Momento for seafood and the Captain's Table for lamb kleftado. The huge turtles where the fish boats dock were an added attraction. The town is a great base for touring Kefalonia! Staying at Twelve Suites was perfect, with the wonderful Athina to consult for local recommendations.

We were looking for a quiet place to stay, after some busy travel time. This place was great. I imagine it is more active in the summer months, but we were looking for peace and quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby, though we chose to cook quite a bit because we've been on the road for a while. There were a couple of things we would have like to see (Archeological Museum and Botanical Gardens) but they weren't open yet. That's okay. We come to Greece in the off-season and know what to expect.

It was our first time to Kefalonia, so weren't quite sure what to expect.
We wanted to stay somewhere busy and real, rather than a purpose built resort, so we chose Argostoli. Our first impression was that it did seem quite rundown, especially along the front, but we very quickly changed our views and saw the place for what it is - a busy, working town which was what we wanted. The first night we walked a short distance from our accommodation and soon came across the main square and the numerous streets leading from this which were filled with bars, restaurants, shops, entertainment and that was it for us - we were hooked!! Argostoli is an amazing place, there's lots to see and do, you can visit all the different resorts and great beaches really easily by bus or taxi (if you don't want to hire a car or bike), it has great nightlife, lots of shops, and lovely restaurants serving all types of food. There's plenty of fast food & takeaways if you just want to grab something quick to eat and there's loads of coffee shops. We didn't get chance to do a boat trip or see many of the sights as we were only there for 4 nights, but this is something we definitely want to do on our next visit to the island. Give the place a try and I hope you love it as much as we did!!
Maria was extremely helpful and super nice. The appartment was big, had a fully equipped kitchen and was very clean. There were also beach towels available. It is located in the best possible spot in Argostoli. First of all there is a large free parking space right in front of the appartment building (it is a BIG plus in the case if you rent a car) and second it is just a few minutes walk to the street where all the bars and restaurants are located. If I will come back to Kefalonia, I would definitely stay here.
The owner family is welcoming, kind and helpful. The apartment is spotless, spacious, cozy, and it feels like we are at home. It is cleaned every day. The kitchen is also well equipped with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kettle, washing machine etc. It has one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom and two balconies. Ideal for families. It is not far from Argostoli by car and it is a good base for exploring Kefalonia. The surrounding is a quiet residential area.
Green apartment is a really great place to stay while exploring Kefalonia. The location is perfect - you can visit all the best beaches on the island relatively fast + the city downtown is just on a 5min walk.
The apartment was always clean and furniture is all new
There is no such a thing you will need on the vacation that Green apartment does not offer.
One of the very important things also - the host is very profesionall and ready to help with advices about local places.
We travel a lot with my wife and unfortunately we only spent one night to this gorgeous hotel, passing from Kefalonia to continue our trip at Ionian Islands. Kefalonia Grand is the ideal place if you want an elegant, relaxing holiday into the capital of Kefalonia, where the action takes place. Clean, spacious rooms and great, polite staff. We also had a wonderful dinner with special cocktails at the hotel's bar-restaurant. Can't wait to move back for a week through September!
- The amazing view over Argostoli from the balcony
- perfect position (4 minutes from argostoli and Lassi, where we found the best taverns)
- the host is super kind, always available to help you get the best from the island and for all your needs
- apartment is super clean and you’ll find everything inside (first aid, medicines, even the sun umbrella to be brought at the beach)
- private parking
- powerful air conditioning
This was hands down the best apartment we stayed in so far. It was spotless clean, large and comfortable. Outside of the apartment is a beautiful view of the sea and bridge in Argostoli. There is a private parking space near the entrance.
Hosts are very kind and they met our every request (like extra clean sheets and towels).
We will definitely stay here again if we come back to kefalonia.
Probably one of the best places and the cleanest I ever stayed on. The view was amazing, the lady was VERY helpful and polite, and it was only a 5-minute drive from Argostoli. Yes the road needs a little fixing, but the distance is so small that it doesn't really matter. 5 stars, I really recommend it.
Everything was excellent: room, breakfast, terrace. The location is perfect to travel around the island. The fresh fruits and vegetables (a really rare thing on the island) market are right behind the corner!! The great bonus is turtles swimming right close to the hotel! Highly recommended!
Such a great hotel experience! The staff are super helpful and attentive that we were sad to leave them! Hotel has a very cool, contemporary design, great restaurant, breakfast, and the toiletries are all top notch. I would come back in a heartbeat - thanks for a wonderful stay!
The best location I could ever choose, extraordinary view to Agrostoli, quiet and clean place. The host ( Chris) is very friendly and kind. The room offered all conditions we needed for a vacation. Good services and great people, I highly recommend!
Staff was amazing. Very nice and friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We stayed in the "master suite and had the rooftop terrace. Highly recommend that room. We had the best views. We would definitely stay again.
The apartment is new and modern and has everything you need. The location is fantastic, just a ten minute walk from the centre Argostoli's main square and just a 5 minute drive from one of the best beaches on the island.
If i could i can give 10 stars instead of 5. Everything was perfect. The host was the kindest person ever, the house was clean and big, with everything we needed. I will come back everytime i visit Kefalonia.
REALLY GREAT! Clean and spacious.
Panos was outstanding!!! So helpful and he knows everything about kefalonia! Had the best dinner, and visited the best beaches thanks to him.
Really recommend this place!
The views from the balcony were great and the pool was really lovely. Nice location and nice to have breakfast at the hotel down in town, short drive or long walk. Really nice welcome treats. Will recommend.
The family who run this hotel were extremely friendly and brought a lovely atmosphere to our stay. The restaurant has the best food I have ever eaten.
You are really close to the town centre and can walk.
We really enjoyed staying here! It was very clean. Kitchen well equipped. The view is amazing!
Regina, the host, welcomed us with fruits, water and wine! One of the best welcoming ever ☺️
