We had a great experience in this hotel. The whole structure is new because it opened on July 2022. For us the best aspect of the stay was the employees. Both the owner and the really nice and kind gentleman that works at the reception were the best aspect. They're really kind and worried about your stay. The breakfast is also great. There aren't that much options but you can see that everything was thought with kindness. On the day that we could not enjoy the breakfast because we were leaving, the gentleman of the reception made a lunch box for us to take away. It was really kind of him

The city is gorgeous and packed with good restaurants.
The city is gorgeous and packed with good restaurants. HOWEVER, there is absolutely not enough parking in its narrow cobble stone streets. I highly recommend either walking, or getting a scooter to go out for dinner.

Zakynthos is a very pretty Island. Laganas, however, is very touristy. The hotel we stayed at was very nice, but the neighborhood wasn’t particularly pretty. It’s perfect for people how enjoy nightlife though.

Zakynthos town is not very big .
Zakynthos town is not very big .
It has a fine esplanade to have a leisurely walk and admire the landscape the boats and the fine eateries along the waterfront .
Dionysiou Solomon’s Square is excellent with its large open spaces and cosmopolitan vibe. Further along Marks Square is the highlight of the town with the abundance of world- class bars ,cafes and restaurants. A stroll along here leads to the pedestrian only road of Alexandrou Roma which is vibrant and beautifully lined with interesting shopping stores and cafes.
One could stroll and see the town in a day however there are museums and places of interest one could take the time to explore longer.
Driving can be tricky around Zakynthos town as many streets are narrow.
There are car parking facilities however .We avoid driving in Zakynthos town ,we park on the outskirts and walk to our in-town destinations .
One of our favourite bars in Zakynthos town is the ‘Base’ where one can view the beauty and vibrancy of the town from a large upstairs balcony while sipping an amazing cocktail or brew .
Bochali , up high on the hill looks over Zakynthos town and is worth a visit to admire the views over Zakynthos town and also for its own interesting offerings .
All business matters can be easily accessed from town but then a visit to Zakynthos is not complete without branching off in any directions to marvel at the plefora of pristine beaches, beach cafes and green undulating countryside.
Zakynthos is an olive grove island and very ecologically minded as you will find when you seek out the local Caretta Caretta sea turtle and the dramatic cliffs , caves and resting place of the infamous Navagio shipwreck.
We love the island of Zakynthos and hope to return again and again .

It's a nice and lovely seaside town, with big squares and nice restaurants. There is a long pedestrian street with many shops and souvenirs. It has an excellent marina and the town is big enough for long evening walks.

I would definitely recommend staying In Zakinthos main part (town). We traveled a little around but lots happening here from being able to rent a boat for the day and tour the swimming coves only accessible by boat, see caves and turtles in the national park, to the massive long strip of shops with different varieties catering for all ages. Kids, teenagers and adults with cheap and very expensive stores alike. At night, the town comes alive with trendy bars, cafes and restaurants with live music in the square or Greek music at restaurants, it really is worth the stay. We only had 2 nights and regret not staying longer

Zakynthos is a fantastic island.
Zakynthos is a fantastic island. I stayed in Laganas to party during the night. But I visited the most beautifull beaches and places during the day. Snorkeling is amazing and I could easily spent weeks on the island to explore everything.
Just google the tips because there is a lot to see and there a blogs all over to tell you where to go and how to get there.
Lovely place to stay:) New hotel and great location. Minutes to walk to town center and across the sea, although not a sandy beach. Best one (about 25min drive) Banana Beach. Staff was really nice, polite and very helpful. They served us some cold drinks and something sweet at the check-in and although we arrived earlier do to our flight they manage to get ready two rooms quicker. They recommended places to go, nice restaurants and also helped us book a boat trip. Rooms are very well cleaned, (every day)and everything needed is provided.
Filoxenia is located near the Zakynthos town but away from the busyness of it. Room was equipped with everything that you’d need as it was more of a small studio flat with kitchenette than a hotel room. Property has a spacious garden with plenty of seatings, good size parking, grill area and shower to clean sand from the beach. Host is very helpful and recommends amazing restaurants. He’s also able to help you organise excursions and rent a car. I wholeheartedly recommend stay here.
For me, the location was perfect. I so enjoyed having the water view and being able to see Zakynthos town and the coast of the Peloponnese from my balcony. The room was spacious and I appreciated having the small kitchen. Elena and her daughter were so friendly and helpful when I needed something. The walk to Zakynthos town is about 25 minutes (I walk slowly) and is very pleasant because you’re following the water the entire time. I highly recommend staying here.
Very pleasant stay in Zakynthos. The staff was always available for any kind of request, they even received us in Italian, which was a very god surprise and made us feel like home!
The hotel was located in a very calm place, far from the noises of the city centre but not so far from there, it is just few minutes away from there by car.
It is excellent for enjoying a good time in Zakynthos and mix the beautiful natural places and the frenzy of the island.
Located in the best area of Zakynthos called Bohalis, a hill very near Zakynthos town, Avalon Palace offers a stellar view of Zakynthos town. The rooms with Sea View were a must stay in this hotel. The service was great, good food(mostly greek cuisine), friendly staff, and everything was very clean. We only stayed at the pool during the last day of our trip, but the pool was amazing too. Price per quality on the very top comparing other hotels.
Amazing views, gorgeous pool area, shame we didn't have time to use the barbecue. Inside was clean and comfortable, excellent facilities - washer, dryer, large fridge freezer, shower was spacious and modern bathrooms, lovely balconies. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely nearby 'beach'/access to the sea where you could swim, not far to drive into Zakynthos town for great shopping, sightseeing and restaurants/bars.
I had an excellent stay at this villa. The view from the villa was just as beautiful as the pictures, and the private pool water was crystal clear, perfect for swim. The location of the villa is ideal, you can reach the airport or zakynthos town within 10 min by car.
The host was incrediblely welcoming and had almost everything we needed prepared for us.It was a fantastic experience and I would definitely book again next time!
We stayed at the property only for one night and it was very good for what we needed. It is centrally located, just a minute from the centre of Zakynthos Town. The room was clean and comfortable enough. The staff were were friendly and helpful, it was great that we could leave our luggage for couple of cours after checking out. Overall, it was more than you could expect from a 2* hotel.
I had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel! From breakfast to dinner, every meal was a delightful culinary journey. The attentive staff and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made each dining experience even more enjoyable. What made the dining experience even more special was the breathtaking view from the restaurant. This hotel is a must-visit!
This is a spacious, well equipped apartment right in the centre of Zakynthos Town and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the ferry pass at the end of the street. There is a supermarket close by and the bus station is only a five minute walk away. Hara was very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed
The property has the best location, not on the main street where it’s very noisy but on a second line which was perfect! The rooms are very cosy and clean, they have great balconies and very sweet backyard to chill. Anna is always ready to help and answer your questions. Everything was great!
Everything! Tonia was there for us for everything we need and she was super helpful. House is super modern and has everything you may need during your stay. You feel like you are at home but get super hotel experience at the same time!
I never stayed due to the fact the was no one there, the door was locked, there was no key and the phone number provided when I called there was no answer.
I left and stayed at a hotel.
I would like my money back
I went with a friend to Zakynthos and we loved everything. Hotel is in the center, near to restaurants and supermarket.
We love breakfast. Greek food is delicious. Their rooms are confortable and clean.
very nice hotel for families, in a very good location, just renovated, clean with very friendly staff.
breakfast was good, still some room to improve with variety and quality of omelets and pancakes
Good location in centre of Zakynthos Town. Staff helpful & friendly. Great shower so felt really refreshed after a day touring Zakynthos Town. Balcony brilliant for people watching.
Everything was perfect no complaints at all. Views are amazing and host were very friendly and they provided us with everything we needed to make our stay one of the best we had.
