I book to stay at BARCELO BEACH and I was moved to another hotel.
I am Vegetarian I took a vegetarian option at the dinner buffet, but it had meat inside. I ate this food and then I was sick. This is unacceptable and I want to be compensated.

Secluded and very very relaxing.
Very clean, great AC, comfortable bed, perfect shower.water tank in the room. Very Safe.
The staff is very very kind, Teresa is adorable and so is Federico.
the beach area is very quiet, i recommend water shoes as it is impossible to enter it barefoot due to the corals.
The sunset is breathtaking, unreal view from the bed, woke up to the sounds of the waves and birds.
Lot of wild animal life around.
Jungle cafe for breakfast and la buena vida for lunch/dinner.

This hotel is not for families, it was way to much noise all night long drunk people scream in the hallways , our door was nock at 1-3 in the morning woke up our children age 2y, 6y, 8y. The staff were so helpless, unfriendly and rude. Every time we had to eat was so stressful cause the waiters will be so mad and we will ask for things like water they will take for ever to give to us. It was a buffe every time but water wasn’t available or even a spoon. They drop drinks next to ur table they didn’t clean it the whole breakfast we were there, i was so afraid any of us will fall down. Front Thea people never knew the answer. Overall we were so disappointed. It feel like a super cheap hotel, full of a lot of drunk people. I read bad reviews and didn’t payed attention but I wish I did. I’m not happy at all with this hotel experience and I’m not planing to eve go back. The ocean was the only thing was good about our trip.

The beach is public, therefore a bit too many people (especially on weekends). Though not sure if you can find a more private one next to a hotel. Not much for walking as well, only max 2 miles of the beach, after that rocks.

About an hour from Cancun airport.
About an hour from Cancun airport. Lots of parks around offering adventure trails, dolphin expeiences, natural features. We went to a cenote (freshwater sinkhole) and did some swimming. There are quite a few of these in the region and thoroughly recommended.SachiniDUnited Kingdom

HUGE bed and very comfy. Perfect services, good food, good drinks, no queues for anything (drinks, sunbeds, food in the buffet). Some activities like salsa, ping pong, zumba, bingo. The beach was really nice, although very low water. 4 al carte restaurant - looking really amazing and the taco night was superb. I love the Miramar buffet area with many choices of meat, seafood, pasta, vegan, desserts, etc. The Sapporo Restaurant is one of my favorites. Employees are very attentive to cater to you. I had so much fun at the music and pool bar so did the beach.
