The value was excellent. One of our more affordable stays in France, yet the hotel and staff exceeded expectations. I really enjoyed their little lounge areas, the garden/courtyard, their breakfasts, and free laundry service.

Everything! The location amongst the vineyards, the private gardens with lots of comfortable seating areas for drinking wine, our room was large and very comfortable with a great bathroom/shower/towels, the salon with books and welcoming furniture, the breakfast room so tastefully decorated, the wonderful breakfast, our lovely and gracious host Rachel who made us feel so welcome, and our tour of the winery and quarry with Veronique.

Beautiful property, decoration and attention to detail is exceptional. The garden and pool are a wonderful asset and we were so lucky to spend a few hours relaxing and enjoying such a lovely setting. The bedrooms are perfect, again beautifully decorated and furnished with wonderful bathroom facilities. We had a lovely relaxed breakfast with a fab range of choices, and great coffee.

Saint-Emilion was the best stop on our trip thus far.
Saint-Emilion was the best stop on our trip thus far. We are staying in our 8th hotel right now & not one compares to the hospitality shown to us in st. Emilion. It is the most beautiful village. I will be back next year.

It is a beautiful town, with an interesting history.
It is a beautiful town, with an interesting history. The food was excellent everywhere we ate. Take comfortable shoes as the cobblestones can be quite uneven at places. Take as many wine tastings as possible - the wine is soooo good. Don't miss out on the unique local macarons either. Do the historic tours and walks, it is all just so good for the soul.

The medieval town was compact, but not suitable for disabled visitors, as the streets were steep and there were many stairs. Roads were cobbled, so wheelchairs were difficult to navigate around. However, as our group were all able bodied it was not a problem for us.
As you would expect from a premier town, prices were fitting for the experience.
I would go again and stay in the town again, as day visitors did not have the luxury of the facilities behind the streets!
We ate in 3 restaurants, the best by far was Restaurant Le Tertre. Booking essential, I booked 3 months in advance to make sure we got a table!
We did the miniature train trip around the wineries in the location, excellent stop with wine tasting and celler visit.
It's a must visit town.

It's a magical city but be prepared to do some walking wearing flat shoes with non-slip soles due to the hilly and narrow roads being preserved as they were a gazillion years ago. There are many shops to peak the interests of many. Parking would be the most challenging event so keep the vehicle of choice the smaller the better.
The historic Catholic Church has 9AM services on Sunday's who welcome parishioners. Most businesses speak a fair amount of English if French is not your primary language. Credit cards are preferred.
The surrounding vineyards are immaculate and the streets are very clean and inviting!

Excellent for medieval history, wine tasting and majestic...
Excellent for medieval history, wine tasting and majestic views of vineyards all combined within ~5 min walk radius. Great ambiance, old town streets, shops, wine caves, restaurants, pavement cafés etc.
NB the town is built on/ around a hillside with steep cobbled stone steps and streets - best not to come with a stroller/pushchair or wheelchair!
We enjoyed the kindness and hospitality of our hostess Maryse, our roomy and pretty accommodation and private bathroom, parking on the property (not on a street), the breakfast, and the proximity of this countryside B&B to Saint-Emilion (about a mile from the B&B to a free parking lot just on the perimeter of the town). Maryse was very accommodating of our needs, as she was able to check us in early, and she also let us leave our luggages at her place after check-out so we could complete one last activity in the town.
A gorgeous find in Saint Emilion. Absolutely wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed the wine tasting in their wine shop downstairs. The apartment is right in the centre of the tiny historic town, easy to access by car for dropping bags and a number of easy parking options near by. The little kitchen had everything you need, we enjoyed making lunches with local produce and cooling down under the air conditioning as it was very hot in France when we stayed.
Everything: Eric, the host, is by far the best I have ever encountered in my years of travel rentals. Even prior to our meeting, Eric was helpful and responsive. He even met us at the train station upon arrival and brought us to his beautiful apartment—- right out of the pages of an architecture magazine. This is a restoration of love and care and the decor reflects this. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms beautiful.
The hotel location was nice and central for exploring the town. We had a suite which was much bigger than expected with a lounge and terrace, with table and chairs, that overlooked the garden. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed relaxing in the historic hotel grounds and the swimming pool was perfect!
The service is at the top level!! High standard hotel, super comfortable and spacious rooms, free access to spa, delicious breakfast, amazing park around, hotel is surrounded by the huge wine yards, extremely attentive employees - these all made our honey moon stay unforgettable 😃highly recommended for short and long stays! Wish to be back one day 😄
Such a gorgeous hotel that felt like a luxurious and comfortable country French house in the middle of town. Our room was absolutely huge and the bed was super comfy. We had dinner at the restaurant which was a 10/10. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great. If we return to Saint Emilion, we will definitely stay here again.
The Location is the selling point for this Hotel. It was so central and convenient for all the notable sights, places to visit and restaurants. The room was big but the bathroom was smaller than expected. Parking within a few feet of the front door was a big plus and the host was very friendly.
The apartment setup and location is a knockout - all the amenities a family needs to explore the St Emilion town and région whilst it’s location is literally steps from the heart of the town.
Sophie was great in communication.
St Emilion is so far our favorite France trip locale.
The accommodation was the Highlight on our Bordeaux, St. Emilion and Medoc wine Trip.
We were warmly welcomed and had a lot of fun discovering the winery.
We enjoyed the big grill and the house owner’s wine.
We would definitely recommend this location to our Friends!
Location was great. Staff super friendly. Apartment well equipped. The hotel that oversees the rental offered us a free wine tasting. The tasting was excellent, with a friendly and knowledgeable host who offered us wines designed to appeal to our individual preferences.
Beautiful Apt. with 2 bedrooms.......large windows in living room overlooking the street below........paid parking nearby, but free parking on the road coming up the hill (2 blocks away)........very helpful staff....keys in the wine store on the 1st floor of building
Loved the hosts! They were so friendly. Took some time to explain and introduce all the good things in the neighbourhood. They also helped us by calling some restaurants and making reservations for dinners.
The breakfast was the best we had in France!
Everything was excellent, property, location, food.
Except the breakfast personal was NOT professional and NOT up to the level of the hotel.
The dinner experience was superb!! Congratulations to the night staff and to the chef and his team!!
The staff was absolutely wonderful, and I loved the hotel's decor. Though the breakfast room is small, it has a good selection of everything you'd want, from meats & cheeses, pastries, to hot selections.
This gorgeous, spacious apartment in the heart of Saint Emilion is arguably the best find of any holiday accommodation or hotel I've ever stayed. Perfect apartment in the best location. Highly recommend.
This an absolute gem in one of the loveliest parts of France - wonderful hosts, superb accommodation with breakfast and a stunning location within walking distance of the town.
We were greeted n helped by the awesome assistant, who booked dinner for us and helped settle us in the modern , lovely , spacious suite.
