very good view of the school, it was great being woken up by the kids screaming while playing four square at seven in the morning, and the delighted chatter of the tourists in the hallway who seemingly couldn’t figure out how to open the door, causing lots of noise for a while. It was close to the spa, and a strange little restaurant, which made it convenient to get to once you’ve soaked in the hot water for hours. Staff was pleasant, and beds were clean.

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs.

This cabin is tucked back within the trees, very private, and super cozy. The interior is warm and welcoming, with lots of finished and unfinished wooden floors and walls. Very well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook any meal. Great location along the Golden Circle with easy access to some local hot springs, hikes, and restaurants. Comfortable beds, quiet location, highly recommend.

Convenient location along the Golden Circle driving route, very close (10 min. drive) to Gullfoss and Geyser. Comfortable room for 2 people (we rented two rooms for two parents and two kids). The hot tubs outside was a nice touch. The free breakfast was good, and the tasty restaurant across the street, where we went to dinner, was a nice find.
