There are so many places to eat!
There are so many places to eat! The food is excellent pretty much everywhere. The focaccia si to die for and so is the farinata! When visiting Lavagna you can forget about the car and if you wish to visit 5 terre the train is very convenient! Smoking should be banned in all beaches, though!FrancescaGermany - 8.0Scored 8.0

Clean air. Very calm city. Most importantly, you can visit other places while staying in Lavagna, by train or by boat. the food is excellent. Very friendly waiters and owner of the restaurant. You can walk to the beach in 7 minutes, to the train station in 10 minutes and to the city center in 10 minutes.I have never had a headache and never had allergies.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0
Small coastal town with cheaper accommodation than other...
Small coastal town with cheaper accommodation than other towns in the area. (ie Portofino). Good rail service. Church of St Stephen is well worth a visit as the interior is spectacular. Not a huge choice of Restaurants but you will not starve!!. Some nice shops.

The room Vernazza was one of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed at. Great views of the Mediterranean sea and very spacious. Parking is available right at the property. The pool area has enough sunbeds for all guests and areas in the shade as well. Shuttle service down to Sestri Levante was reliable and the driver was very nice/friendly. This place is a great base when visiting Cinque Terre - I will definitely return.

The apartment itself was in superb condition and the hosts could not be more helpful and friendly with everything you would need to cook, wash or have a quick coffee. We were able to go to beach in Lavagna or Sestri Levante, pretty easy, by car. There are very good restaurants in the town. You get very good advices from the owner, where to go to eat, or park the car, etc.
