The weather in Puerto Vallarta is amazing. We have been in Puerto Vallarta in 2023 and again in 2024 (10 day trips each year) and the weather is a sunny copy-paste every single day. Make sure to also visit old Vallarta, it has shopping, good food and night life! Nuevo Vallarta is amazing and more relaxing, but there are not as many things to do. It depends what you're looking for!

Puerto Vallarta is not part of old Mexico so it is not a "history" or archeological tour destination. But, the food is great, the people wonderful, and just a very relaxing beach destination.

We only walked around after getting to Centro/Zona Romantica. We were able to walk to several great beaches, amazing restaurants, lookouts over the city, markets, etc. We never got to all of the restaurants and activities that we wanted to do! There is so much!
The sunsets from the malecon are not to be missed!

What I love about Puerto Vallarta is that it is a very authentic MEXICAN town - as opposed to Cancun or Los Cabos. Cobblestone streets, small stores, locally owned businesses… it all adds to the charm of the place.

I strongly recommend the the Hyatt Zeva, Puerto Vallarta. This is an all inclusive venue. The facilities are excellent, well maintained and beautiful!
I love an April visit. It is the end of the High Season. There are fewer guests, and the weather is very pleasant.

The staff was excellent especially Cesar. He even went out of his way to say hello outside of the hotel on his day off. I could not write enough good things about them. The food at the buffet was delicious. Unfortunately didn’t make a reservation at the restaurant. The location was great for us. only about 10-15 minutes from everything (the Malacon, zona romantica, the airport and some excursions but far enough that it’s not to busy of an area. Also loved the fact it’s all inclusive at a cheaper price than most resorts.
This hotel has nicely sized modern and clean rooms. The staff is very helpful and kind. The location inside a shopping mall is different but very convenient, as several places to snack, eat or drink are directly in front of the hotel. This is especially nice during the hot weather. The beach (Playa del Holi) is just a few hundreds meters away and easily accessible via a street behind the mall. Although the beach is more to sunbath and relax and less to swim due to low water quality (a river just flows into the ocean).
This was our first time staying at the Sheraton in Puerto Vallarta. We booked three rooms for our family during the Christmas holidays, and we were very happy with our choice of property. We loved the beautiful grounds, the friendly staff, and the proximity to Old Town and the Malecon, Our rooms were very clean and nice and the beds were comfortable. Our room included the buffet breakfast, which we enjoyed in the main restaurant overlooking the ocean. We'll definitely return.
First of all, this is suppose to be a 5 start hotels. There should be more food outside. How can you have one food truck for main dishes and only be truck just for appetizers. Listen, it was only one lady by herself, cutting the onions, cutting the tomatoes, and the vegetables without anyone helping her. This is totally unacceptable and disrespectful to guest and to the staff. Time to add someone to help with prep. I am completely shocked and disappointed
It's a good sized space right across from the beach, there is an area marked off allowing you some privacy on the beach with chairs and tables provided. The blue chairs folks next door will even come wait on you while waiting there. The hotel area is nice, and it gets quiet around 10pm during the week and closer to midnight on weekends. Overall, there's no issue sleeping here.
The huge area where the hotel is located, with beautiful gardens and palm trees, and access to one of the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta city area. The brunch that was available in the restaurant, and in front of the beach. There is a mini-market conveniently located by the hotel entrance, so we did not need to get far for many everyday needs.
Location was great and unit is dreamy. It's in the Hotel zone so not the most quiet area but lots of activities on the beach for teenagers so it worked great for us. Apartment is modern, very spacious, super comfortable and offers gorgeous views of the ocean from almost all 4 corners, and gorgeous views of the mountains in the back.
We enjoyed how the hotel is a bit away from the busy roads. It is also a 10 minute walk away from many places including the beach, restaurants, stores.. The hotel has very nice potted plants and is very clean. The cleaning staff was very helpful and courteous. The location is great, close to the romantic zone in a cab.
Everything was amazing. Property is right on the beach - it's basically the hotel's private beach. Food was great, and they offer room service which is a plus. They also have activities throughout the day which were fun - yoga at the beach, beach volleyball, zumba, etc.
I love that the hotel corridors are so open to the outside. The location is superb..right on the beach and close to the Malecon. The pool is lovely and the place is very clean. The restaurant is minimal but there are restaurants all over the area so no problem.
Hotel is right on the beach. Small beach but does the job. Pool not heated and in a shady area till mid afternoon.
Room was spacious and mattress was very comfy.
Water pressure is good too.
We would return due to location, $60 pesos to Zona.
Good value all inclusive, great location to explore Centro Puerto Vallarta, solid dining options and exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional staff. With a special mention to the great service provided by Ramon and Antonio.
The room was spacious and decorated in a really cool way. The hotel is right in the centre of the romantic zone so you can just walk outside and go to all the cool restaurants and the Malecon.
Everything!! Amazing little gem in the heart of Romantic zone Puerto Vallarta. The hotel is full of character & charm. Staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome.
Nothing. After a year and a half of traveling throughout Mexico, this is probably the worst hotel-to-price ratio that I've stayed at. This place was NOT cheaply priced !
