Fletcher Hotel De Zalm, hotel in Brielle

Located in historic Brielle, this Fletcher hotel offers bright rooms with free Wi-Fi. It has a restaurant and a bar. Europoort is just over a 20-minute drive away.

The room, the beds and the bathroom were very spacious. A lot of windows with blinders that kept the light out when needed and afterwards revealed the beautiful buildings and square. I liked it that we were in the center of the center of this small and butiful town, with a statue right in front of our window. The staff was also helpful and welcoming.

Was a cool historic hotel. Loved the town.

Was a cool historic hotel. Loved the town. Hotel staff were friendly. Only thing I would recommend is that if you can't do stairs, that you request a ground floor room. We were fine with doing the stairs ourselves. The hotel can't put in an elevator due to its historic designation. :) Nevertheless I would stay there again

That Brielle is a fortress from the 15 centure and fully surrounded with a dike and water is very special. Also the old tow with narrow streets and the old 19 centure buildings is unique . Brielle is worth a visit

Very quiet area - although this may change in the summer months Very picturesque set around Brielle Mere Good bus access to metro for Rotterdam and surrounding areas Taxi's expensive and be very careful that they understand where your hotel is - ie Brielle and not in Rotterdam as there are similar named hotels in Rotterdam

We were in Brielle specifically for the annual Blues Festival and as always it was great fun. This hotel is next to one of the stages but the music stops around 10pm, so is not a hindrance to a good nights sleep. The town itself is full of history and great to wander round the old and new areas and especially along the old fortifications etc. that surround the old town. Loved the main church which played a variety of music on the tower bells, including some '90's pop! The whole town seems friendly and it is easy to make friends here - just start up a conversation and see where it leads...

Our stay here was one of the highlights of a memorable trip. Brielle is an undiscovered gem outside The Netherlands and Poorter Hotel a winner in every respect! It is perfectly located in beautifully restored buildings in the pedestrianised main street. The interior decoration is of a very high standard and the romantic attic bedroom was very well appointed. Many thanks to the check in lady, who carried my carry-on suitcase upstairs!

My room was spacious and at the back of the Hotel so it was much quieter than my colleagues on the other side. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the Hotel! The receptionist was very accommodating and made every effort to make our stay smooth and relaxed, Thank you! The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in, in a hotel ever! Bliss!! The food in the bar is better than the menu suggests :)

The Poorter Boutique Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is in the oldest building in Brielle and set on a quiet, quaint street. The rooms are tastefully updated and very modern. The service is impeccable. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The town of Brielle was also a delightful surprise. I wish we had planned a longer visit.

Nice and cosy hotel in the city centre with central location in a old building but all renewed. Nice and clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast with both salty and sweet options, all with high quality food: fresh orange juice, fresh white and black bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, croissant, etc.

Super, super nice hosts! Location in the old Town. Apartament is in old house, on levels😁. Quiet, clean and comfortable. We had a stylish bathtube in our bedroom. Welcome wine on the table. I can recommend this place if someone wants to see Brielle, Rotterdam or Hague, close enough.

Paid €136 for a non refundable room without breakfast. ( was 17.50 extra pp, we looked at the buffet, everything appeared industrial and walked away ) Room and bathroom were very small. The entire hotel was a little old and tired. Sorry but we expected a lot more for that money.

Older building with a charming Dutch small town ambience. Getting to the room involved staircases and finding the right corridor. Reception, bar staff and other guests were all friendly. Handy car park at rear of hotel.
