We loved our boat cruise on Lake Zurich. It had a food bistro with table service and you sit inside or our. The views were lovely.
Although we only window shopped it was fascinating strolling along The Bahnhofstrasse.
Also highly recommend taking a trip to the Rhine Falls. It does not take long by train and tram and is good to see. Quite special.

The hotel was very well positioned in the old town, an easy walk to the station and other facilities. Just around the corner from the lovely river and a street full of restaurants.
The Sechseläutenn Festival was on whilst we were there which gave the city a happy celebratory vibe even though it was raining.

From the big train station it is very easy to take a day trip to the capital, Bern. It is an hour road and the old town there is really nice. Also try the day trip to Loucerne. There is a travel agency called "Best of Switzerland", the parking lot is really close to the hotel, i would highly recommend the excursion to the Titlis mountain, Alps. I will never forget that in my life. Zurich is very nice, the walk by the river to the start of the lake is great.

Zurich is in some ways the best of big city and the best of...
Zurich is in some ways the best of big city and the best of a small town. If your life revolves around outdoor activities such as hiking, wake boarding, sailing, bicycling, rock climbing, mountain climbing, etc. then it is by far one of the best cities to live in. It's incredibly close to all of these things.
It's also centrally located in Europe, so you can easily visit France, Austria, Germany, or Italy with only a few hours train ride. You will travel a lot.
The city itself is beautiful. It is cleaner and safer than any other big city in the world. A corollary to the cleanliness is that you will spend far more of your life figuring out how to get rid of your trash than anywhere else you will ever live. (I personally was never able to fold my paper-recycling neatly enough to get it picked up. I am not joking.)
The Swiss are incredibly organized. Even the Germans make fun of how organized and un-spontaneous they are. When the government or a bank tells you to expect something within two weeks, it will probably show up in your mailbox within three business days. You will respond to mail faster than you ever have in your life.
The core of the city is only about 400,000 people. It's small. You may find yourself going nuts if you come from a big city, or if you like a bit of mayhem in your life. While there are many different activities to do, they may only happen once a week.

Zurich has so much character.
Zurich has so much character. Unlike other cities around the world, which build so many monuments and attractions, Zurich is “naturally” beautiful!! I spent most of my days traveling to other parts of Switzerland, but while in Zurich I was able to tour the Rhein falls, Lindt chocolate factory, the lake, the shops and much more!
This is a clean and efficient hotel furnished to a high standard. The staff are friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfasts are satisfactory. It is situated only a few minutes' walk from the Zurich main station and within walking distance of many city centre attractions. Its great asset is its location in the attractive Niederdorf 'old town' area of Zurich, which is full of bohemian and academic life and many restaurants. Yet our room looking out on to the municipal library was extremely quiet.
My whole business trip was amazing with this Aparthotel.
Great location, quiet comfortable rooms, super close to the supermarket Migros & Coop, restaurants, city centre and public transport. Super clean and very comfy. A 2 min walk from the nearest tram station.
Everything you need will be in the apartment. Kitchen is well equipped, Dishwasher, fridge and freezer, a lot of closet space, comfy beds and also Free local Sim-card. I would recommend it to anyone. the best value for money in zurich.
Marvellous location with views over Lake Zurich.
Tricky underground parking but plentiful spaces.
Breakfast was one of the best we had on our road trip.
We had one of the top floor rooms with superb views of the laje.
Hotel staff are a credit to the business.
Tram ZOO stop is only 5 minutes away. Downtown Zurich is less than 20 mins away.
Had drinks outside while watching fireworks and lightning over the Alps.
Would gladly stay here again. It was a perfect treat!
Great hotel, great staff (particularly thanks to Ginevra at the reception), really worth to stay over if you are travelling or if you are doing a stop at the Zurich Airport. Not too far from the city and well connected, not only via taxi but also via Trams and Buses.
The breakfast was ok, I was expecting a few more option but the things that were available were superb.
The restaurant was very good as well, a one-time free drink is included!
Large hotel with nice restaurant. Spa and exercise area. The breakfast was the best I had during my 2 weeks in europe). A huge spread, fresh everything. The made to order omlet bar was great. If I didn't stay here next time in Zurich, I'd come by for breakfast, and if you're not coming down for breakfast, you can fill out your order on a card that attaches to your door handle, leave before 2am and they'll bring your food to your room.
Very cute hotel in a area of Zurich, was alot like Greenwich village ny. Many resturants of all flavors within walking distance. Also a Starbucks across the street. Close enough to train station and airport. I only did a 1 night layover and was very nice for that pupose.please note, the room was on the small side, and the city being a happening part of town it was a bit noisy. Room was beautiful well appointed and very comfortable.
Great great location. Most of the great sites were only a few minutes walk away. Very convenient to reach the hotel from the airport. Take a train, get off at main station (Zurich HB) and the hotel is only 5 minutes walk away. Tram station was only 1 minutes walk away. Great variety of nearby restaurants and coffee shops.
Very friendly staff. Easy check in and check out. Efficient house keeping services.
For the price I paid at Zurich it's decent hotel to stay not the best location but it's worth to stay.
-Very comfortable beds with two pillows (:
-Very clean room and bathroom have all the things you need.
-Well equipped room .
-Underground parking with two floors, you need to pay 24 CHF per/night but almost all hotels have no free parking at Zurich.
-Friendly stuff.
Excellent location. You can walk to the city centre, or take the tram. The stop is a minute walk from the hotel and the same line that goes to the city centre also conveniently goes to Zurich airport (the opposite direction). There is a supermarket next to the hotel and a coffee maker (dulce gusto) in the room.
Superb, as always. Very conveniently located, just opposite the Central Station, with friendly and efficient staff, comfortable and scrupulously clean rooms, a cosy bar and an excellent breakfast. While not cheap, I consider it the hotel in Zürich with the best price/quality relationship.
Best hotel in Zurich! Place is perfect, rooms are amazing. Staff is the most lovely and helpful. The location is prime with tram stop right in front. Best coffee shops and restaurants all around and even walkable to old town banhofstrasse and more. Hands down best hotel
The hotel is located centrally. Very close to the airport, train station and to most tourist attractions.
The staff are very professional, offering suggestions and help.
Just spent 1 night at this hotel, but would definitely recommend if in Zurich.
The staff made this visit fantastic. Everyone is anxious to help and be of amazing service. Zurich is an expensive city but this hotel gave me the best value of my trip. Wonderful property, comfortable room and terrific, walkable location.
Very convenient location, value price, and comfortable bed. This was the perfect solution for a short layover night with an opportunity to explore downtown Zurich. Assuming you're comfortable with the 'Capsule Hotel' model.
Location is very good, Goldbrunnen tram stop just seen from hotel. From there direct tram to main train station Zurich Hb ( and then to ZRH airport) every 10-15min.
it’s location . one tram ride straight from the airport and the tram stops in front of the hotel . at the same time the hotel is few stops away from the city center
