Firstly, I am reviewing this based on value. If I’d paid £300 per night I would judge it differently. But this place is extraordinary for the price. The staff were welcoming from the moment I walked in the door, the room was spotless, the breakfast wonderful. Bang for buck I don’t recall having a better experience. A little gem.

The room was very good but we could have done with a little more cupboard space. The only space to store clothes were the 2 very narrow upright spaces at the back of the bed.

The staff were friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was hard and I thought I would struggle to sleep, but it was great, had a very good sleep in the end. Very happy with the accommodation. Very thoughtful leaving bottles of water in reception. You can see the owner is an organised and practical person and they have a passion for the industry. The little detail, lights above the room number is a nice touch. The common area is in need of some tender loving care. Assume this is due to people coming in and out with suitcases and scuffing the walls. But the room was very clean and look newly refurbished. Great find! I will use this accommodation again.

Stayed in the Ali room for first two nights, then extended another two nights in the Star Wars room, all at discounted rates. The detail in both rooms was really extraordinary and a great way to cap off an otherwise more rugged backpacking trip for myself. Also, I was unexpectedly surprised by how good the range of water temperatures in the shower - very relaxing and better than a lot of other places I stayed at. You could spend a long time gazing at the walls of the place, like a museum. Staff (Alice, Lily) were super-helpful and friendly.

Known for colorful nightlife and traditional English seaside pursuits, Brighton and nearby Hove are the closest beach resorts to London, making them popular end points for classic car runs from the capital. Many end at the racetrack, a few streets from Brighton Marina, Europe’s largest, housing several shops and eateries. Many Brighton guesthouses on Booking.com are also nearby.
Running along the beachfront is the world’s oldest operating electric train, ending by Brighton Pier. Lit up at night and also known as Palace Pier, this city icon houses amusements and rides, and is one place to pick up some famous Brighton Rock, the confectionery sharing its name with an edgy Graham Greene novel set here.
A new addition, the Brighton Wheel is right by the pier, while one of its most famous attractions is the Royal Pavilion, a former royal retreat built in Indian style.
Just west are 2 of the most popular Brighton shopping spots – Churchill Square shopping center and The Lanes with its narrow streets and unusual shops. This area also has several Brighton hotels with parking, and the Artists Quarter, a series of ex-fishing huts that are now galleries. Arts + culture are big in Brighton, and Brighton Festival is the UK’s 2nd largest arts festival, while Brighton Pride is also a big event on the annual calendar.
Good retail trip and lovely to explore the Lanes. The sealife aquarium was fab for my granddaughter but they are card only. I had wanted to pay cash for our refreshments. We had a fun time on tbe pier. Kids love the 2p machines!

The hotel is very convenient for the town.
The hotel is very convenient for the town. We went to a show at the Brighton Centre which was a very short walk from the hotel. Town has everything you want, coffee shops, restaurants and many many shops. The Lanes are definitely worth a visit too.

Have been a visitor to Brighton for many years, from childhood holidays right up to recent times. Always something to see and do. The history of the place is endless and fascinating. Transport connections to other South Coast locations both to the west and east are excellent and of course an easy trip from London.

Stayed for 2 nights.
Stayed for 2 nights. Bohemian city with many different types of people. Arty shops, the Lanes and great for plant-based dining (check out No Catch on the seafront opposite the Wellington Pier). The Pavilion is great value and fascinating to tour around. Visited the Dome for a gig - great venue. Parking in Brighton is not cheap as to be expected. A lot of building work but a lot of interesting Regency style buildings. Large Pier. Felt safe.

We were greeted by helpful friendly staff - that offered me some ice as I had bumped my head.
We were given a free room upgrade.
The room was large and very comfortable.
Breakfast was good - staff at breakfast were excellent and swimming pool was lovely, with steam room and sauna a treat.
Excellent location near the pier, lanes and on seafront.
A great stay.
If I ever visit Brighton again I would use the Queen's Hotel again.
Perfect location - a 2-minute walk from the beach and a walking distance from the Brighton Centre. The room was small but cosy, perfect if you plan to spend the day out and come back to the hotel only to sleep. The wifi worked well, and everything was very clean. I had an issue with a blocked shower drain, but the staff helped me solve it immediately. Great communication, I recommend Avalon Hotel :)
Got a room and full breakfast buffet for £102 for a Monday night. It was fantastic value, the room was massive, the staff were extremely good and the location is brilliant (step out the door and you're less than a minute's walk to the beach).
Absolutely recommend this hotel and will use again when we're back down in Brighton later in the year.
Friendly staff, great location in Lanes, near all shops, fab restaurants and hotel/pub itself does good food, right near beach and Brighton Pavilion and taxi rank, breakfast really enjoyable and its brought to your room.
