First nights I got an upgrade to a bigger room at a seperate building, lots of space and several beds. Then I extended and moved to the main building which was bit noisier as the school was in front, the excellent staff had though told me about it before I booked so cant complain, all good. They were always ready to help and felt comforting knowing that.

Crazy traffic and noise, dangerous to walk as a pedestrian since there are almost no traffic lights and pedestrian crossings. Uber taxis are very cheap, but most of them drive like crazy and don't have functional seatbelts at the back seats. We found the best food and view at the Greek Club, and amazing croissants at the Croissant D'Alexis! Montazah park is beautiful and offers some fantastic views away from the traffic and the noise.

Visiting town centre, with its many suks, was one of the highlights. Major sights like the Library are well known. Less so the newly renovated Greek and Roman Art Museum. Our guide didn't intend to take us there but we insisted and were very pleased that we did as it is one of the most important museums in Egypt.

It’s a great city for the soul. Once you enter the city and see the sea, you will feel so refreshing.
Everything is great there, whatever historical places or nature or atmosphere in the downtown in the night.

There is no place to take a pleasant walk in the city or spend time except the museum and library. It is a very ruined, chaotic, noisy, dirty city with terrible traffic, so walking or hanging around is not only unpleasant but also tiring. However, its library and Greco-Roman Museum are incredibly impressive. Other museums are very ordinary. Seafood dishes are very fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Therefore, I think 2 days are enough to visit this city; You can spend a lot of time in the library and the museum, take a coffee break in a cafe (the number of stylish ones is almost nonexistent), take a short city walk and see what looks like it and gain insight about the city and have a seafood dinner in the evening and continue on your way.

was a lovely hotel, staff all friendly, my only complaint is that everywhere you went you could smell cigarette smoke, people smoked in the lobby, and the corridors the rooms, even though my room was clearly labeled no smoking everything stunk of cigarette smoke including fresh bedding and towels. this for a smoker would be not noticed, but if like me and my daughters (all nonsmokers) it was enough to put a black cloud over the whole holiday .

I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandria.
I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandria. It is a big, bustling city, and parts of it are very dirty. However, there are so many interesting things to see, and it is pretty easy to get around, I used Uber. It’s a very interesting city, and I recommend giving it at least a few days.
for me tolip is the best hotel i visited in cairo, clean, room service is great, parking lots are wide enough not to scratch your car-and btw this is is an issue you have to take in mind ind egypt😅- , breakfast is great and always fresh , staff is really friendly and when it came to the big deal, for sure the view is something you’d remember especially if you booked room number 49, you’ll be able to see the whole Alexandria from there🤍
it's very good for Egyptian family or a business man in Egypt. breakfast is very good personally I'm a coffee drinker all the day . I'm hardly eating Breakfast or lunch .I do love the smile on each employee face specially when they tell you Good morning . the word good morning can melt any thing ( that is what I believe ) Keep up the good work and the SMILE .

Dina is the nicest person in Alexandria! She was so welcoming! Communication was smooth. It's a room in a spacious Egyptian apartment with nice furniture, peace and quiet. Only several minutes from the centre by Uber. Dina prepares a delicious breakfast on request which you need to have a spare stomach for. I couldn't recommend more!
Staff , specially Esraa in front office , she was sooo nice , helpful and friendly ...
Breakfast was exceptional , the best breakfast I ever had in hotels in my life , inside and outside Egypt ...
The view from my room was stunning , lovvvved it ..
Room service food menu was full of varieties in very reasonable prices ...
A great place when you’re traveling alone and want to meet some people. The Egyptian breakfast was very good and the common area is very cozy. The check in was really easy through a QR-code at the reception and the WiFi was better than in most hotels I stayed in in Egypt. There is a kitchen free to use and drinking water.

A classy seaside fortress in the vibrant center of Alexandria. Overall friendly staff, colorful carpets, beautiful silent old elevators, scrumptious breakfast, functional balconies and modern toilets. The first floor bar serves one of the best martinis you’ll find in Egypt.
Amazing location right in the centre and close to water. We had a sea view from our room. Staff were nice. Bed was best in Egypt a sheet then blanket. Simple but everything you need. For the price it was awesome.
I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel manager who spares no effort in monitoring the staff performance and satisfaction of the guests. You truly set an admirable example. Thank you.
Hotel from royal era of Egypt. It is like museum with a lot of fine arts, excelent location and views. Great breakfast bufet. Very helpful staff, spesially Christina.
Great property with amazing views. Away from traffic noices and adjacent to a monument. Rooms were good with amazing wifi speed (the best ive seen in egypt).
