This small bungalow is located mere 20 meters away from the shore line! Considering that I had no expectations at all, it ended up being a very good surprise. I would recommend it for sure.

The property is in a beautiful place on the sea front amongst a fishing community. It is a short walk to the pier and other beautiful beaches. We ended up extending our stay twice because we loved it so much! The included breakfast is amazing with so much choice and the staff are so wonderful and kind. We saw the Dugong from the bungalow every day!!! Maybe we were lucky but maybe he also loves Sea View Bungalow!

The owner of this stay was so beyond kind and accommodating to me. I unfortunately was ate up by sand flies before arriving on Koh Muk and she immediately was ready with open arms to help me get medical attention and help me with transportation. The hospitality was astounding. The place itself was so cozy and comfortable. Having it situated right on the water was so nice and tranquil. She provided free water, coffee, and crackers for guests which was awesome. The spot is conveniently located with a restaurant and laundry drop off right next door. At the end of my trip she helped me move to my next spot which I was so grateful for. I would totally recommend this stay, you won’t be disappointed!
Great island with the stunning Charlie beach. One of the top in Thailand from my 2 month travel around. Definitely underrated. Can be uncomfortable in the evenings when jelly fish appear. But 10 starts for the morning time. Also nice food done by local on theirs small restaurants business on the beach. An relaxing place to be.

We loved how relaxed the island was.
We loved how relaxed the island was. The locals were super friendly (especially the children who said hello and good morning whenever we went past). It is very quiet compared to other Thai islands such as Koh Lipe / Koh Phi Phi so be prepared for early nights rather than late night partying.

Charlie’s beach was our favourite.
Charlie’s beach was our favourite. You could sit on the loungers and umbrellas for free although the beer cocktails and Pad Thai were too good to decline.
You get around the island in tuk tuks which cost 50baht each no matter what the distance.
The Home Restaurant, Arunee (fantastic cook) and Manat run this lovely restaurant. One night we had barracuda for dinner which was delicious.
We were lucky one evening to see turtles by the pier

Sivalai Resort is there too on a beautiful beach.
A must is a visit to Emerald cave and a day trip to Koh Kradan.
Loved Sunset or (Charlie Beach)
Overall I would strongly recommend Koh Mook island.
I was looking for some privacy and quietness and I found it here. First of all I loved that Ko Mook was a very chill place, not so many people, great restaurants and nice beach. Then the 4 bungalows were very spacious, the bathroom was spotless and I felt so welcomed by the owners. The reggaebar is at the front of the street and the bungalows at the back, they play music until 10/11pm, so it is a great idea to have a couple drinks there after dinner ;)
This is best place to stay if you want a truly authentic island experience. The owner showed me incredible hospitality, helping me to find the best deals for tours, food, and transport on and off the island. He gave me rides all around the island free of charge, and gave great recommendations on where to go and what to see. He helped me connect with the locals providing a very unique and amazing experience you won’t find anywhere else.
U-sa was very friendly and made us very welcome. The location is peaceful and overlooking a pleasant and quiet bay. The accommodation was very comfortable and we enjoyed breakfast on the cool patio one morning. It was a nice walk into the centre and only a short walk to Charlie Beach. We loved it and would stay there again if we were to visit Ko Mook another year.
Goh the host makes extra effort to accommodate individual needs. he is on call and responsive to guest and goes the extra mile on everything. he runs a very smooth operation for what is a small guest house resort and he and his family are warm and welcoming hosts. the kitchen is one of the best in the island and serene great Thai food. good fresh seafood.
The property manager pretends to not find our booking that was made through booking .com
He lied to us by saying that the hotel is full and can’t accommodate us ( even our reservation was paid and valid)
After contacting booking.com, he finally found our booking by magic and he pretended that the booking wasn’t paid to him
The access from the main land was easy and quick. Location is probably one of the best in Koh Mook close to the walking street and shops. The cottage had a descent size. We paid a premium for a beach view which we could not fault. Housekeeping came in every day and did a good job.

The wooden cabins were surprisingly comfortable, it’s the best I’ve slept in weeks! The accommodation is so relaxing and the family running it is so kind. The food (curry with fish) was the best I’ve had in Thailand. Also: they have real European coffee!
Very cute little bungalow, the 1st one is far enough from the road, so we didn't hear anything at night other than the crickets. Very close to the best beach of the island, and the breakfast was quite tasty (you have a choice between 3 combos).
Clean and spacious room.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Restaurant is amazing.
Definitely recommend the massage (one of the best ones in Thailand).
Perfect location, 5min walk to popular and really nice beach.
Would recommend staying here.
Very comfortable rooms and attentive staff with free shuttle to any of the sights on the island you might want to visit. While I don't usually look for western food in Thailand, the pizza at this resort was quite good!
The staff were super friendly and helpful at Smile Resort, there was a little corner store that was attached to the resort which was really nice to have near by for beers or ice cream on our deck :)
The bungalow on the beach had a beautiful sunrise view. The staff was very helpful at helping arrange transfers back to the airport directly from the resort.
Great location with beautiful staff who made our stay very comfortable! The hut design were authentic. Will definitely come back next time im
