The staff were great, excellent customer service. The lobby is nice and the added touch of popcorn on arrival is really nice. There was an issue with our first room and when we let them know, they upgraded and switched us instead. That was something we really appreciated. The bonus free activities next door like the mini golf and games were great. Good location, convenient, and ample parking.

Nice little town, close to the Sea Edge Motel.
Nice little town, close to the Sea Edge Motel. They seem to have everything: fast food, great grocery stores, Dollar Store, Home Hardware, pubs, Mini Golf, nice restaurants and plenty to see in the area like Cameron Lake, Cathedral Grove, Qualicum Beach, and Coombs Market where the goats are on the roof!

Parksville is central to going up to the Comox Valley, or down towards Nanaimo, various golf courses, and beaches both in Parksville and up and down the island. If you are into the Artisan scene, there are so many spots to check out in Parksville and surrounding areas. If you enjoy nature walks there are many in this area.

Excellent place for families with young children.
Excellent place for families with young children. The beach is fantastic for finding shells and crabs, with loads of small tide pools. Swimming is the best in warm water. The community park is excellent area for children, with a water park beside it. Ample parking too.
Our hostess Anneke was a delight ! The wooded property just a few minutes from Errington/Parksville with a beautiful country home. We enjoyed a lovely reception of coffee and homemade pastries and our room was clean and comfortable. We relaxed and sat on the porch watching hummingbirds, rabbits, and other birds. Comfortable nights sleep and then treated to a delicious breakfast each day. Anneke gave some great ideas to do during the day including visiting / hiking Englishman river falls. Highly recommend !!
Good location. Close to everywhere, close to the beach, restaurants, ferry terminal etc. The suite is super clean, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well maintained and equipped with all the necessities. Karen even impressed us with a bottle of wine and some snacks. She is very thoughtful and caring. We felt at home during our 3-day stay at Beach Suites at Parksville.we will definitely be back to stay at Beach Suites again.
The gentleman who checked us in was one of the most charming hotel clerks I’ve ever met. And I’ve met lots! He was an absolute gem.
We weren’t happy with our first room bc it smelled like someone had been smoking in it. He moved us without question and agreed that it didn’t smell very good. The rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable and spacious. We all slept well. Would absolutely stay again.
Mark at the front desk was excellent: friendly, polite and attentive.
We used to bring our children to the Sea Edge Motel when they were young. After staying here for a night in May, we have now decided to bring our grandchildren back to Sea Edge this summer. Great lawn for kids to play, immediate access to the amazing Parksville sandbar a few steps away, and the bonus of Paradise Mini-Golf included.

really enjoyed walking on beach right in front of hotel and then to the right where there is a HUGE kids playground.
Fantastic little hotel, well updated, perfect central location for food, activities, beaches, forest. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking, common area with bbq, common room with a t.v., books, record player and the best little van houtte coffee machine ever, everyone was continually in and out with coffee.
Lovely location and our cabin was cozy, had everything we needed! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Super pet friendly, lots of campers with dogs and they had a water dish etc set up ready at our cabin! The river was perfect for swimming while we were there in mid August.
I stayed in this Motel with my two sisters, brother , Mom and Dad.I remember my father brought our TV from home so we could all watch the "Moon Landing". I have many fond memories with Parksville and the Sea Edge Motel!
the outside is nice, nice brand new appliances in our room. It is right next to mini golf which is great for activity, in a good part of parksville. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
You could bring a pet and there was a black dog in the counter, the beach was also wonderful. Plus this hotel has activities that are free, not like other hotels that have to pay.
Breakfast was delicious. We were given many choices and she she very willing to accommodate our needs. The location was quiet and very close to Parksville.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was OK with a short walk to the beach. The hotel was basic but all seemed clean and the beds were comfy.
Front desk ladies were AWESOME! So welcoming and excellent with my dog and being a pet friendly place. Gave us some great leisure time activities as well.
