The hotel is located across the street from Falmouth harbor. My room was really an apartment with a living room, full kitchen, bedroom and big bathroom. It was very clean. There was some traffic noise in the morning but not bad. The furniture was very comfortable. Most of the staff that I met was very nice, especially housekeeping.

It was a quaint little well maintained, family owned in. The owner was absolutely fantastic, and the staff was great. They helped us upstairs with our luggage. The rooms were clean, very quaint. I would highly recommend it to anyone. And I would definitely stay there again.

Traveling with my son, they accommodated us in a room on the first floor, apparently with a family with children and a pet upstairs who did not allow us to sleep for two nights. I really wouldn't repeat this experience

Falmouth is an adorable little town, giving us a great taste of what Cape Cod is all about. Our lodging at the Frederick William House was the icing on the cake. Jeanette and Fiona were the most wonderful hosts, making our visit more special. Totally will return!!

We had a wonderful visit to Falmouth.
We had a wonderful visit to Falmouth. We spent time at various beaches, Nobska Lighthouse, Woods Hole, The Knob, Spohr Gardens, and Main Street. The shopping, dining, and natural beauty of the area made for a very pleasant little getaway.

The restaurant was only open for Breakfast!
The restaurant was only open for Breakfast! It was closed for lunch and dinner. The pool was not open!! There was no water or air conditioning in the gym. They did not have water in the rooms, because they said Falmouth does not allow plastic container, yet the vending machines did - so we bought our water for our room. They said that we could buy canned water at the front desk!! We were so disappointed when we received an email informing us about the closure of restaurant and pool the day before we left for our vacation with our grandchildren. We couldn't find another hotel during that week close to the Falmouth Curling Tournament that my son-in-law was performing!!! It was not a very nice vacation.

Went to Grew's Pond, which is public access and free.
Went to Grew's Pond, which is public access and free. A freshwater beach, small but lovely with small kids. Other beaches are private or need non-resident sticker fees. Had a great Mexican lunch (gets crowded though, be prepared to wait for a table) at Anejo on Main St. Falmouth is also the stop for a Martha's Vineyard Ferry and I would definitely recommend staying there on the Cape.

Loved Falmouth!
Loved Falmouth! Many good restaurants, very clean and well kept town, friendly people and shopping was great. There was a very accessible beach and access to a ferry for reaching Martha's Vineyard.
Amazing ocean front location and long great beach make this hotel justifiably famous. The hotel also has indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna. Alas, it is extremely expensive during the high season (July thru Labor Day). Rooms without an ocean view are more affordable. If you are not a millionaire, you can come after Labor Day - the rates are only half as much. If you want to squeeze biking in the morning, the Shining Path trail is only a few minutes away - drive or bike to Silver Lounge and the bike trail goes behind it.
The location was amazing right in the heart of Falmouth and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The inn was ver charming and staff was friendly. Our room was snug, but cozy. Bed was a little soft for our liking and shower was very small. Breakfast was delicious. Cranberry sorbet, quiche, croissant and coffee on the porch were the perfect way to start the day. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!
if you're taking a trip to falmouth, stay here!!!! the women who work here are so sweet and so very helpful. the room was clean, there were a few different seating areas around the property that were incredibly beautiful, it was a quick walk to so many great places including the waterfront, and the pool was immaculate. honestly my overall trip was bad but the people here were so nice that i knew i needed to leave a review
Nothing, the room was dirty and the alarm of fire 2 consecutive days with fireman. The promise of the director who said that we will not pay for our 4 days in the hotel for the 2 days of alarm. I had demand a room at the first floor because I’m handicaped and I was not consider. A chance for you that the fireman don’t saw me trying to escape from the second floor.
I love everything about this property. I have only been in the off-season for my birthday, but I’ve gone two years in a row. I’ve gotten the same apartment each time, beautiful rooms, spacious, comfortable, the view and spa tub are perfection. I can only imagine how amazing it must be to stay in the summer with the outdoor pool and beach across the street.
The bedroom was huge...can't complain for the size of our bedroom. Beds were comfortable, from the mattress to the bed sheets.
The living room was bright and nicely decorated.
Bathroom is a decent size, although the light/fan is very noisy....just use the other light (sink).
Overall it is a well maintain hotel both outside and inside.
Loved being right on the Shining Sea bike path. Also loved that coffee, fruit, and baked goods were available 24/7. The owners Jeanette and Sam were really nice people. The inn and room were very clean and comfortable. Great location, short bike ride on the path to Falmouth Cntr and 4.5 miles to Woods Hole.
The location is amazing right by the sea. Feels like being on a cruise ship! All rooms are equipped with a Vinyl Record Player - and an amazing selection of records! We got really into „Endless Summer“ Soundtracks. The manager explained the background to this idea! Amazing… find out yourself :-)
I tried to get on the ferry Christmas Eve to MV. All ferries cancelled due to a storm. I found this hotel and was grateful to have a place to stay. The irony on Christmas Eve. The restaurant wasn't great felt cold but I appreciated being able to get food as everywhere else seemed closed.
The Town and Beach is a quaint motel which fits perfectly with the Falmouth vibe. The location begins the Main Street walk that allows you to enjoy the local treasures located here. The owner , Virginia, and her assistant, Terry, make sure you're comfortable and well cared for.
we stayed here because of the location to the ferry. the hotel was clean. the room was small but it worked for our family.
they didn’t make the beds during the day but provided towels and took the trash
this was honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. clean and comfortable. amazing view of the ocean. Step onto the beach. The staff were awesome. very friendly and helpful. I would come back again
This is a great hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and well managed. I highly recommend. A short walk to the pedestrian ferry if you want to enjoy MARTHA'S VINYARD. Location, location, location.
Great location; close to the ferries for Martha Vineyards.
On main street close to breakfast places and restaurants.
Great for having parking.
Clean room; comfortable bed; excellent bathroom.
The location is amazing , nothing beats waking up with a view over de ocean. Had the best breakfast in our clean and spacious room. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Amazing breakfast, professional and pleasant treatment. Beautiful hotel, cozy room and perfect location. This is the perfect hotel, I cannot think of a better choice
A lot of effort by the owners has been made to make the room attractive. A lot of bathroom products were provided. The room has everything that you could need.
