The perfect place to relax and recharge. Very nice, spacious rooms, great bathroom layout. Confortable bed and silent efficient AC. The first hotel i stayed in that had a steamer instead of an iron( very good for summer eary dresses). The pool and pool bar area were great- they have happy hour ;). The beach is across the street and its a wonderful place, plenty of natural shade thanks to the luxurious Seychelles vegetation. The beach restaurant is awesome. I usually dont comment about the hotel staff, but i will this time. They were all smiling, polite, and had a great ease when attending to our requests. This added to the holiday feel. We had half bord, breakfast was buffet style and dinner was a 3 course meal. I highly recommend this gotel. Intimate, elegant, very clean, perfect location, excelent service.

Villa Bella, hotel in Mahe

Providing river views, Villa Bella in Mahe offers accommodations and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

There was no breakfast; we bought groceries at a local bodega. The hosts were very helpful, but the accommodation was somewhat basic. This stay needs to be rated in comparison to surrounding local options. As such, it was fairly good. But Seychelles accommodations in general appeared to be either quite expensive or somewhat basic. The area is gated with easy parking for good security. A beach is within easy walking distance. The sunrise over the ocean was beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Jimmy, the host of Villa, showed me perfect beaches and gave papaya and avocado from his garden for back trip. Maya helped me to pay despite that my card stop working. I also recommend to book second floor room because of view. It takes about 15 minutes of walking to get villa from bus station and it's safe area

We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival.

We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival. The island is absolutely stunning, from the wild jungle and huge granite mountains to the pristine beaches and indescribably blue sea. The driving is crazy - the roads are not straight with lots of steep curves and bends, so drive carefully if you hire a car to explore the island, which is highly recommended. There are lots of hidden gems - we ate at Maria's Rock which was a fabulous experience, and we highly recommend eating at the Boat House on Beau Vallon beach and the Green House in Au Cap. Buy freshly caught fish from the fish sellers on the side of the road and cook your own - it is cheap and delicious. Food in general, whether you are eating out or buying from one of the local corner grocery stores, is very pricey, so beware! Visit the Botanical Gardens and grab a delicious pastry and ice cream from the Polish owned bakery just across the road and down from the Botanical Gardens entrance. Definitely visit the Mission Ruins in Venn's Town in the Morne Seychellois National Park, the views are breathtaking. Also visit the beach at Anse Soleil for the best sunsets.

I really enjoyed Praslin - I had stayed 6 days in Praslin and 5 in Mahe. If I ever come back (i would love too) i would stay only one day in Mahe and the rest in Praslin. I brought my own coffee, the supermarkers are available but tehy had only nescafe, the available products are imported and expensive compare to Europe(butter, bear, bread and so one). It worth renting a car right from teh boat - if you are nor tired (They drive on the left side !!). Taxi is extremelly expensive and not available - for teh New Year we call two number , did not get any answer so we went using the renting car). You need a car and in my opion public transportation is not a solution. You can pay with car almost everywhere except for taxi (I used Revolut) so you do not need a lot of cash in rupees. Some restaurant they charge you also for service on the bill 5% or 10%. Best Beach Four Season Good restaurant Green House Le duc - Praslin Le repaire- La digue

We hired cars for our holiday group and went shopping, sight seeing of Victoria city and the whole Mahe island and out evenings to restaurants and entertainment. We also did the glass bottom boat full day trip and were pleasantly surprised on this trip to meet his Excellency the State President and First Lady of Seychelles also spending relaxing time at the Beach House on one of the islands, where this lovely couple so graciously addressed the visitors to the island and so kindly gave our group from South Africa audience and a photo shoot opportunity that was the highlight of our visit to Seychelles.

Beautiful island with a little for every taste: amazing beaches (for families, adults and snorkelling), great scuba diving, water activities and excursions, amazing nature trails, good choice of restaurants. If you want to explore the island car rental (40/50 €/day)is a must as public transport is limited (waiting time can be 30/40 mins - 7SR each ride). If you want to explore the best beaches or plantations/waterfalls/attractions consider a car.

Mahe is great! I loved it so much.

Mahe is great! I loved it so much. Firstly the Ocean for sure, with lots of beaches along the costs. There's plenty of activities to do like snorkeling, diving, surfing, kayaking, hiking, etc. Due to Covid-19 they have some restrictions of course but still you can have a great time there. Restaurants and bars are open until 10 pm, but some of them close earlier to allow their staff to get homes before curfew. Shops, minimarkets close at 7 pm. Wearing of masks is mandatory in public places, and they register your name country and temperature at the entrance in every restaurant, café, shop, etc. to have a track of visitors. To get around you can either rent a car or use a taxi, public buses are not allowed for tourists now because of COVID-19. Overall the place is very safe. People are super welcoming, helpful, friendly and always smiling. There's a great choice of what to eat depends on your personal taste but most popular is fish and seafood of course. Just go there, relax by the beach, get some walk around. In Mahe you forget about your everyday problems and routines, you are just enjoying being in the moment.

    Everything is good except Food.

Everything is good except Food. Mahe is very touristic and in most places prices for food are too expensive comparing to what you can get on Praslin or La Digue. Sometimes you pay 2x but get the same or even smaller portions and lower quality in restaurants than on other islands.

The house was nice, and perfectly fitted for our group (two families). Ideal also for a group of friends. Everything we needed was in the house, a big bowl of fruit was prepared on our arrival. The place is private and calm. In spite of that it was close everywhere in Beau Vallon (shop, restaurants), and the beach was only 15 min on foot. Our host Tania was really kind and helpful with everything we needed, gave us useful advises for our trips on Mahé, she helped us to solve one problem even after we have left for an other island.

Everything went so well. I visit Mahe with my girlfriend and this is the place to be! The owner was an amazing person and did everything to give us an amazing experience. It was one of the best holiday rentals we had. The room was super comfortable and had everything we can ask for. Location wise is the best place to stay in the island and everything is close by. Supermarket, restaurants, bars... everything you can ask for. The owner was super available and reply to all of our concerns and questions. FIVE STARS!!

This is a truly unique place and has kindest and most helpful owners. The whole place is in my opinion situated in the most beautiful part of the island, its garden looks like a tropical paradise, organized in complete harmony. The breakfast and dinner cooked by Elena were simply amazing and we only wish could have stayed more than 5 days. A grade of 10 is not sufficient to represent this beautiful place.

One of the most comfortable places to stay in, in Seychelles. The chalet is well designed with great modern taste, well equipped with all of what you might need, and everything is of high quality. Location right on the beach.. actually makes you almost in water. Internet is very good considering other places I booked. Mini markets are few mins walking from the chalet.

We had a lovely stay at Aqua Boutique - self catering. I was actually surprised with all the facilities inside our mini flat - fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, plates, etc. The place was nicely decorated with good taste and a nice view over the sea. We loved the gym and swimming pool as well. Overall, perfect way to start our trip in the Seychelles !

Location is lovely. High on the hill overlooking Mahe. Great views from large covered patio. Much cooler than down below. Although there is no direct beach access ,it is fairly central by car to most attractions on either side of the island Host very helpful. ( Will even pick you up from the airport for a small fee) Taxis are a rip off

We had a wonderful stay at the apartments on top of Jimmy’s house. He is such a kind person that really elevated our stay in the Seychelles. The food he can cook for you is also amazing for a very fair price! If you don’t mind a appartement at a higher altitude we would definitely recommend staying here.
