City is neat, compact and beautiful. A lot of tourist attractions. The National Museum is beautiful and the history of Qatar well told through both electronic and physical exhibits. The City Canter at night is like Times Square.

Fantastic city, safe, clean and lots to see and do. It is a creative, cultured city with something for all ages and interests. It is very easy to get round, the transport system is superb, taxis are cheap and the people are kind and hospitable. There are so many places to visit and things to do. Lots of great places to eat from street food to houte cuisine, Superb hotels and facilities, wonderful beaches, water sports galore, parks and play areas for kids, places to relax for adults and the great thing is, you can so much without spending money. The people of Doha are its best asset. No matter where they are from, they all smile, always and eager to help and its pleasant from the moment you land at a fantastic airport to wherever you decide to stay, there are no, no go areas. Highly recommend. I don't just write this for the sake of it, one has to be honest and if you go there you will see and feel the same. They genuinely make an effort to welcome you.

Many choices of outdoor and indoor activities are available, the traffic is much less than larger population places, so easy for the drivers to get around. The airport experience was top class. We only had 2 days for a stopover, 5 days would allow much more of an experience. The city was clean and we felt safe and comfortable when walking around the souk.
