The breakfast was fantastic and varied over the course of our stay to our surprise. Each morning we were welcomed with a lovely made dish, something sweet, something salty, something fruity. Besides that, we go some recommendations for the local area and really felt like being at a friends house, feeling like home. We will definitly come back next year and extend our stay in the Steamboat Inn. Thanks Lana, for your warmth welcome and support 😊

Kickapoo Shores Waterfront Cottages features air-conditioned accommodation in Onalaska. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Walnut Canyon Cabins provides air-conditioned accommodation in Fredericksburg. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and a business centre. Idyllic, peaceful location where the main attractions are the wildlife, the spectacular sunrises and starry night skies. The cabin was beautifully presented, clean, cosy and had everything you could need. The breakfast provided was excellent & the hot tub was the icing on the cake! The host could not have been more welcoming and helpful to us. It was the perfect place to get away from it all & we would return in a heartbeat.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Hardeman House Bed and Breakfast is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Nacogdoches, 32 km from Pitser Garrison Convention Center. Great location, being able to walk into the historic downtown. Parking onsite. Room (we had Crockett Room) was clean, well presented, very comfortable bed and a good size. Breakfast was great and thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the table, meeting other people during breakfast. We just had an overnight stop during a long journey, but certainly could have stayed longer - a very comfortable, relaxing stop.

Although convenient to the city amenities, we felt isolated (in a good way), away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Taking a pleasant walk was very easy.

We had an amazing two-night stay at City on a Hill near Fredericksburg. The serene surroundings allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in nature, and the cabin provided a cozy retreat. The highlight was undoubtedly the jacuzzi – a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The presence of friendly animals added a charming touch, making our experience truly delightful. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We stopped here on our drive north, and it has been a highlight of our trip. The property is in an excellent location in today and has all the amenities needed plus more. S’mores by the fire with a glass of wine was a delight. Hospitality was top notch! Breakfast was wonderful, best scrambled eggs! Would have loved to have stayed longer.
