Bodhgaya is a place of profound spiritual significance and...
Bodhgaya is a place of profound spiritual significance and historical importance. It's the very site where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. Visiting Bodhgaya is a transformative experience, where one can immerse themselves in the serenity of the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Bodhi Tree, believed to be the exact spot where the Buddha meditated.
The atmosphere in Bodhgaya is charged with spirituality, with pilgrims from all over the world paying homage to the Buddha and participating in meditation and prayer sessions. The tranquility of the surroundings, coupled with the chants and rituals, creates a deeply moving and introspective atmosphere.
Apart from its spiritual significance, Bodhgaya offers a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Buddhism through its monasteries, stupas, and ancient artifacts. Exploring the various monasteries, each representing different Buddhist traditions, provides insight into the diversity and depth of Buddhist teachings.
The town itself is charming, with narrow lanes lined with shops selling religious artifacts, handicrafts, and traditional items. The local cuisine, influenced by the region's diverse cultural heritage, offers a delightful culinary experience for visitors.
Overall, Bodhgaya is not just a destination; it's a pilgrimage for the soul. Its timeless beauty, spiritual energy, and cultural richness make it a place unlike any other, leaving a lasting impression on all who visit. Whether you seek spiritual enlightenment, cultural immersion, or simply a serene retreat, Bodhgaya offers an experience that is truly unparalleled.

Mahabodhi temple is a beautiful place to visit. Interesting and fascinating facts of Indian history are really mind blowing while you walk through the temple premises. Being a world heritage site the place is well maintained and disciplined. A sense of calmness, peacefulness and faith will automatically engulf your mind when you spent your time within the temple premises.

One day should be enough to go around Gaya-Bodhgaya.
One day should be enough to go around Gaya-Bodhgaya. Hire a good cab service and plan well. This is more of pilgrimage center (Hindus and Buddhist). Do not miss the cave where Buddha did meditation for six years) Take this opportunity to visit Pawpuri (Mahavir's Nirvana) Rajgir and Nalanda. Historical importance. From there you may travel to Patna and see Takhat Haramandir Sahib (Birth place of Gurugobind Singh) If you have not experienced Langar do have it there.
This leg-Gaya-Bodhgaya, Pawpuri, Rajgir,Nalanda, Patna- you are touching the holy places of four religions originated in India-Hinduism Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism apart from Historical places of Nalanda and Rajgir.

Quiet place with very little pollution.
Quiet place with very little pollution. The pandemic has definitely had its impact. The temples are open only till 5 PM and the lightning of the temples have been discontinued except the Mahabodhi temple. The temples are serene, clean and visitor friendly. Definitely worth a visit of two days.
The hotel is pretty new, beautifully decorated, a true blessing in India's hot summer days.
The pool is amazing and the staff is super polite and helpful!
When I was there, they were on a "soft opening" scheme, so the spa and the breakfast were not at its fullest.
Rooms are large and the beds are super comfortable! I would definitely stay here again!
My train arrived at late hours, after a veeery long delay and the driver waited for me at the train station all night.
This hotel was a SCAM - when I arrived, a man at the desk claimed there was no room available, even though I had a confirmation number and an email saying pay on arrival. He turned me over to a tout who led me to a neighboring hotel which was full of bugs and in poor repair. I don't know if that man even worked for the Prince, but he was behind the desk and clearly in league with the tout. As I result, I never actually stayed at the Prince - beware of booking this place!
Location --- near the airport (not walkable, but ~ 5 minute drive --- location shown on booking.com map is wrong, actual location can be found at other websites), hotel is very quiet
Transportation --- car available for rent with driver
Staff --- very helpful
Food --- OK
Room --- spacious, comfortable, hot water available 24 hrs, cleanliness very good by Indian standards
Amazing lovely family, out of the crowd of Bodhgaya.
5 star is not enough just for have been meeting them.
Rooms are basics but more then enough to me and we are talking about a budget accomodation so no complain at all!!
Would be perfect a mosquito net cause there were a lot of them, but normal in this season.
Great place anyway!!
We had great stay at Beauty Guest House. The room is especially clean and neat, with kitchen for guests to cook themselves. After a long journey in India, we had meals cooked by ourselves at our own favourite. The location was great too by some walking to the Buddha temple. Must choose it again in next trip back to Bodh Gaya
Hotel is located 15-20 minutes walking distance from the temple. Hotel can provide breakfast at any requested time (should discuss in advance). Hotel's staff are so kind and open. Just ask hotel to provide you everything you need. Overall impression is good and hotel's staff made this stay better.
I did not like anything
It is a pathetic hotel please don't stay here
It was so dirty what you are seeing in the picture it's far different in reality
Staff were so rude not welcoming
They asked for advance booking money I paid it but I did not stay and they did not pay my money back
Amazing stay.....such a polite owner...since we travelled a lot, he not only helped us in making our stay comfortable but also guided us to the beautiful tourist sites...hats off gesture...will definitely recommend to friends and family...must stay place in Bodh Gaya... 😊
The location of this place is fantastic. If you are in Bodh Gaya, just book this place and you will not regret your time there. Gaurav is also very dear and welcoming, helps you with anything and also understands you with your privacy.
The hotel is ideally located between Gaya and Bodhgaya. The staff was quite friendly and polite. Utmost care was taken of cleanliness. Room was very spacious. Worth the price
This was an excellent hotel in Bodh Gaya - close to the main sites but also set back from the road and quiet. The hotel staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend!
