United KingdomThe service was impeccable, the staff extremely efficient and very helpful had a beautiful meal on our first evening there,lovely warm welcome, tea/coffee facilities excellent, continental breakfast fabulous, fresh fruit,juice,cereal bars,croissants, bottles water,bronte assorted biscuits ,tea/coffee,all in all a very pleasant stay,oh and the views from the room over the lake,fabulous ,we were down from Scotland for a family funeral, the staff and management team made sure we had a pleasant stay,definitely recommend and definitely stay again

Iv always stayed at the lanehead hotel for over 20 years and I after say since lynsy has taken over its just getting better and better, she has fully refurbished the hotel, all new beds so comfortable the staff she has are more than welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, and as for the food it's lovely and beautifully presented, each time me and my husband visit things have improved, I would recommend this hotel to anybody it's fantastic value for money, I had my wedding reception there, and a year on we are celebrating our anniversary at the hotel, hats off to lynsy and her team xGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The steps to the car parks, are a considerable hindrance for those individuals struggling with mobility issues. I did witness a couple of older guests who were struggling with great difficulty. The staff were really excellent, very friendly and helpful. We liked the bar area. A great little house with everything you need for a short...
A great little house with everything you need for a short stay. Ideal location of visiting Leeds and the surrounding areas. The beds in the house are very small (not a full double), so not ideal if 2 people sleeping in them. They were also very hard. Bedding was clean, as were towels. The road outside the house is a very busy road and the traffic noise went on all night. There is off street parking, which is a bit tight to get into, but is long enough for 2 cars. The house was overall very clean, but there were some areas that could be improved on. The light fitting in the lounge had cobwebs on it and the bedroom with the bunk beds smelled of stale smoke. The bunk beds were a bit wobbly too. The freezer was broken. The only thing we didn’t have in the house that we needed was a bottle opener.Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom

The staff were very welcoming and could not do enough to help make the stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is dog-friendly and has a lovely beer garden (we were lucky with the weather!). We held a function at the hotel around 4 years ago and it has undergone some refurbishment. The room was well-stocked with refreshments and even toothbrushes!
