Spacious room, warm, handy location to walk to Murrayfield and/or Princes St and the city. Friendly staff.

The room was slightly small but adequate for the three of us – myself, my wife, and our son. The hotel is situated outside the city center, but there is convenient tram access to downtown. I purchased a 5-day family pass at the airport for £55, which allowed for unlimited travel during our stay. Complimentary tea, coffee, and water were available 24/7 in the lobby. The staff were very accommodating, and the room was not only clean but also serviced daily. There is a large supermarket located directly across from the hotel, offering very reasonable prices.

The hotel is located in the center of Edinburgh, very close to tourist attractions. Very nice room. Clean staff. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Enough for two nights in Edinburgh. It is located in the old district. I will definitely return to it again.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Right next to the scot monument and basically every major attraction is a walk away. The room was spotless. The staff is superb, we had our room on the 5th floor and the view of the edinburgh castle from the room was breathtaking taking. The breakfast was good as well.

Staff at the reception were so helpful and we were so grateful that we were offered the upgraded room with the view to the iconic Edinburgh castle. ☺️ The location was also so convenient and easy to get by places on foot. Thank you Novotel.

Hotel located in front of a park. Impeccable cleaning. Kind staff, especially Ana from reception. Delicious food. Nice beakfast. Big bedroom.Extremely comfortable bed. Big TV. Bus stop 1 minute walk from the hotel. Bus to the city center and the airport.

Super friendly stuff and nice rooms in good location

Staff was excellent, especially a young lady at the front desk. I can't recall her name (short bobbed dark hair, glasses). But when we reported a couple of issues with our room in the a.m., and expected them to be fixed when we returned in the evening (they weren't). We told her about it and she came up herself and fixed a plugged shower drain and tv remote that didn't work. Excellent young lady, very hard working!

Everything was just perfect. I especially appreciated the comfortable beds and the tasty breakfast

The staff was so kind and helpful, rooms very clean and tidy, breakfast was always a hit with the kids and the grounds were perfect for the kids to run around and play

Great location in Old town, a lots of pubs and small shops nearby. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and lunch at EVE restaurant.

Brilliant location and great facilities.

Pros: Very intimate setting, with only 9 rooms, each one with a particular and unique feel and decor. Very quiet despite being in the city center. Location is unbeatable, just feet away from the castle. The restaurants are beautiful and great. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
