We liked many aspects at the Dormy Inn Aomori Hotel, like the breakfast with many Japanese food, the larger room with twin beds (compared to the double bed rooms), the very nice Onsen bath, the very kind reception and cleaning staff.

Es un alojamiento que sale de lo común, muy buen diseño, comodidad, limpieza, y una habitación enorme con vista a un jardín privado japonés. El alojamiento combina el encanto de lo tradicional y la comodidad, confort y tecnología de lo contemporáneo. La ubicación es algo alejada del centro pero el responsable Wataru se encargó de llevarnos personalmente a los lugares que decidimos ir. Wataru fue más que amable y siempre estuvo pendiente de todas nuestras necesidades. Un lugar especial, diferente a la hotelería convencional y repetitiva sin encanto. Fue toda una experiencia japonesa pero confortable alojarse en el hotel de Wataru.

The staff were very friendly and happy to speak with foreigners. I was happy to get to have conversations in Japanese as many people I`ve met in Japan are not talkative. It also happened that I was lucky enough to get to see a performance of Te-odori from one of the people from the attached studio.

Exceptional service from manager and staff. We arrived after dinner time, and the manager, cheff and staff stayed on to serve us delicious food. Thank you very much. Will san New Zealand.

The absolute highlight of our stay was Guest House Chara, run by the kindest elderly couple, Fusao and Toshiko. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home—it wasn’t just a place to sleep, it truly felt like staying with family. Their house told a story, filled with warmth, history, and the little personal touches that made it feel lived-in and loved. From the amazing homemade breakfast to the delicious ramen dinners they prepared, every meal was made with care and love. The guest house is conveniently located, just a short walk from a supermarket and a laundromat, which made things really easy for us. This personal, welcoming experience truly made our trip special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meaningful, off-the-beaten-path experience in Japan. ありがとうございます

A very comfortable and well-equipped unit with a helpful and responsive host. Walking distance to a large supermarket. We really appreciated the extra set of towels given the duration of our stay, and the apple tea was a thoughtful gesture.
