We stayed in a room with a balcony facing the mountain and it felt like an amazing oasis with our own private hot springs in the clouds. I could have stayed forever! It was so beautiful that we never went downstairs to try the larger facilities. The breakfast buffet both mornings was fantastic and the woman cooking was very helpful at explaining everything in English to my daughters.

Breakfast was insanely extensive; never seen anything like it. Great! And the children's area was the highlight of the whole trip for my son. The pools were delightful.

La dueña estuvo en contacto conmigo todo el tiempo. Llegué antes de la hora del registro y no tuvo ningún inconveniente en acercarse y abrirme la habitación. Por otro lado, los espacios son enormes. En cada piso hay una cocina e utensilios para los huéspedes.

Set in Jiaoxi, Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa features views of the city. The property is around 7 minutes' walk from Jiaoxi Hot Springs Park and 10 minutes' walk from Tangweigou Springs Park. Their staff were very friendly, thoughtful & helpful. Always with a bright smile. Service was excellent!!!Thankful and lucky for the free upgrade of room. It was my first visit and I will definitely be back if I visit Yilan again. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfy!! There are free snacks and drinks too. Rooms slipper are SUPER comfy, it is made in good quality. Close to 7-11 and other stores. Few mins of walking distance. Nearby bus stations too!

We had half board: excellent buffet dinner and decent breakfast buffet spread with freshly squeezed juice from local fruits. We especially loved the timely housekeeping service, pillow selection (3 nights’ stay), spacious bathroom design, complimentary loan of slippers and bathrobes for hotspring soak… and the serene designs of the outdoor spa area with fish spa and scented hotspring pools. The basement has a gd spread of play area for kids, and separately a recreation area for billiard pool and table tennis for adults. We note that to preserve the quality of hotspring water, the basement entrance to the outdoor pool area is discreetly manned by hotel staff to discourage people from walking into the hotspring pool areas with their regular walking shoes. Security at the carpark and lobby entrances is good. Thumbs-up!

Travelled from Sydney, Australia. Loved the built in high quality Hot Springs in my room. Option to attend meditation class, yoga classes & hot stone treatment at this hotel. Bed in room very comfortable. There is also gym facilities and the staff are super polite. We also got a free shuttle bus to the train station. Highly recommend.
