It was actually a studio, as it also had a little living room area and a kitchenette. The bathroom was clean and big! The matress was a bit too soft for me but definitely not a bad bed. Opened in early 2013 after a complete renovation, Hotel Lux in Emmenbrücke is just 6 km from Lucerne. It offers free WiFi and free parking. Very good located, to take transport to train station. And reception staff very helpfull. And breakfast was also good.
