We were absolutely thrilled with Sunshine House. Vassia, the landlady, met us there and she was lovely and helpful, showed us how everything works and she sent us lots of information about helpful things for our stay. The house was immaculate, comfortable and just like the pictures. It is a really substantial, solid house and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay with a family and easy to keep clean. It is a fifteen minute walk to the centre but has all the essentials nearby - a lovely bakers, supermarket, fishmonger, butcher and a few bars nearby. Ten mins to the windmill for lovely swimming and the same to the airport so no need for a taxi if you are happy to trundle along with your suitcases for a short trip. We loved the surroundings as there is a small but pleasant, sunny yard out back for sitting outside and lots of greenery around.

The place was spotless. It smelled good, it was filled with all you needed, from shampoo and conditioner to makeup remover and beach towels. The host had even put four bottles of water in the fridge for us. Even if you are basically 300m away from the airport, the apartment is absolutely soundproof. It had two air conditioners, so no problem with the heat, the WiFi was great, the balcony offered a great view of the planes taking off or landing(for those who enjoy seeing that; we did). The host was absolutely great. He offered to pick us up from the airport(we had already rented a car), he greeted us at the property to give us all the details and he even took time to send us the pin points of a lot of places, from local restaurant, to beaches nearby or other small villages to visit. So, all in all, the property was perfection. Great place, great location(8 min away from the center by car and 3 min away from the airport terminal), great host. We had a perfect stay in Cordu Old Town! 🤍

First of all, this house is really beautiful and comfortable, we’ve been there for 10 days and we really enjoyed it. Second of all, Aimonas and Olga are one of the best hosts, they are kind, considerate and helpful. I would recommend them and their accommodation to anyone, 10/10 experience!

This certainly isn't most luxurious asset in Corfu, but it is as charming as it gets. Located in friendly neighborhood where everybody greets you with a big smile, it will make you feel like a local who knows how to enjoy every moment of sunny days and warm nights on this heavenly island. For breakfast, we received freshly picked fruit, vegetables and even eggs laid by the very own chickens in the garden. 10 stars for Mr Akis, his house and garden! Authentic Greece and Greek hospitality at its best!
