The accommodation is really perfect, clean, tidy, spacious. I have not been to a hotel like this in a long time, I must say.There is an air conditioner that works really well.

The apartment was so close to the airport! We had a 5 am flight and staying here was super helpful. We also loved the apartment in general - it was cute.

It’s very close to the airport, just a 5 minutes walk. The host was always available on WhatsApp and he is a very friendly and helpful person. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay.

Location and Transport
Marrakech-Menara Airport is set just over 6 miles (10 kilometres) from the centre of Marrakech and the best way to get to or from the city is by taxi. This will take about 20 minutes and cost around MAD 190, but it’s best to agree on a fare with your driver before you set off. The public bus 11 runs between the old town’s Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the airport every 20–30 minutes.

Marrakesh is a gorgeous place if you are looking for an authentic , rural stay.
However, for the various trips/excursions do ensure you confirm pick- up from where you are staying. For two of our trips (the hot- air balloon ride and the hammam/ spa) , we had to pay to the venue even though it was clearly stated when we booked that pick-up and drop- off was part of the packages.

We were two girls staying at this hotel in April. On the second night, I was violently assaulted right in front of the hotel: a man on a scooter tried to snatch my bag and dragged me several meters. The assault was captured on the hotel’s security cameras.
Instead of supporting us, the hotel told us they knew the attacker’s identity through their “friends,” and then tried to force us to accept an apology by bringing the thief and his family into the hotel against our will. It was terrifying. I refused, despite pressure from the staff urging me not to file a police report.
When we left, they changed the taxi price at the last minute, and then falsely reported to Booking that we never showed up at the hotel – even though we paid in cash and have proof of our stay.
This hotel was not only irresponsible in the face of a serious assault but also tried to cover up the incident. This stay was a nightmare. I strongly advise against staying here, especially for women traveling alone or with friends.

Good experience but get ready to pay London/ Europe prices everywhere or some places are even expensive.
Be ware of cold weather and pack well fro winters
This country is not winter friendly- we suffered in cold 🥶
Heating is not available anywhere and places like riad or hotels will be freezing all they give is an extra blanket

Highly recommend staying in this tranquil place outside the centre. Easy taxi into the medina. Anas is the kindest guy. The rooms are immaculate and beautiful. The spa around the corenr is also a great way to spend the day. We will be back.

MEDINA very interesting. Walking the narrow streets is a big risk with literally 100 's of motor bikes.Walking is the only reasonable option, but be vigilant. On the whole really nice people. The Riad Celia is shabby ( photos ) l had one small window,cracked with a smashed latch ( photo ) no security whatsoever . Towel rail hanging off the wall, front door stapled together ( photo ). I requested a lower room ( knees ) and was given the very top room. Lots of stairs. I feel some form of compensation is in order.
