We have booked a room with a view so we can enjoy the Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower and it did not disappoint. We also took advantage of the free shuttle service offered which is convenient.

Located on the Cotai Strip, MGM Cotai offers diverse and unique accommodations in Macau. I had a bad skin allergy during the trip, we intended to go A&E but we were concerned about the covid situation at the hospital. We called up customer service to enquire on the opening hours of Macau hospital and a lovely polite girl prompted further on why we needed to visit the hospital and informed us that the hotel actually has an in-house doctor who is able to assist us! The hotel called us a couple of times to ask and confirm symptoms and drug allergies. Shortly after, in-house doctor came to my room, he was accompanied by 3 hotel staff, doctor was really attentive and had a look again at my skin allergy before he gave me the pills and cream he prescribed based on the earlier phone conversations. I feel very touched and it is obvious that the hotel took this matter seriously. The hotel staff also told me to ring up the hotline if I need any ice bag or further assistance and they are more than happy to help. I highly recommend the hotel and definitely look forward to stay again when I next visit Macau!

Biggest drawback is a main arterial that runs the length of the waterfront and you and cars cannot cross except at both ends, and by walkers overpasses which are at both ends again. You have to be able to walk long distances when staying on the waterfront, or be prepared to take a taxi that has to go a roundabout way to get where you started. The city is very clean.

The casino side of the city is a glammed up doll, and tourists milling about wonder-struck! If you are into luxury goods, branded, premium items, this is your Mecca. You'll find a wide array of Asian food in the large food courts. But be prepared to pay top dollar for everything you consume, including water! There are only a few convenience stores if you need to buy some essentials, but they don't stock tea or coffee bags! Strange! Macau is a dream city, a candyland for those who love luxury and opulence.

Lovely place to visit to experience the hotels and the culture. Hotels are all in easy walking distance. Lovely bar in St Regis . Gordon Ramsays was very good and staff very helpful. Short ride to visit the Panda Pavillion was worth the visit.

Macau – A Colorful Mix of Cultures, Charm, and Warm Hospitality! I last visited Macau ten years ago and always had a soft spot for it—but this time, I was truly stunned by the friendliness of the people. Wherever we went, we were warmly welcomed and received outstanding service. Macau has it all: the luxury casino life, charming Portuguese old-town flair, tropical beach vibes, and even that bustling, Hong Kong-style city energy. I love the variety of cultures and the many languages spoken—Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese, and English all flow effortlessly here. It’s an absolute shopping paradise—if you have the budget. But what I really appreciate is the mix: while high-end luxury is everywhere, you can also enjoy fantastic local food and drinks without breaking the bank. What makes Macau special is how, within such a small area, you can travel through completely different worlds—from colonial streets to glittering skyscrapers, peaceful beaches to lively markets. It’s like several destinations wrapped into one. Macau has clearly shifted its focus in recent years. While it used to focus primarily on casino tourism, they’re now doing a fantastic job attracting more family-oriented and cultural visitors. And I think they've done a great job. Bravo, Macau!

Macau is convenient with the Bus service. Use the apps service for guides... If you are from Malaysia take note that T&Go not necessary work everywhere. Cash is require especially at the Bus. Some eatery also needs China/Hkg version Alipay only International mobile is ok in macau as China Sucks If u exit Gongbei Port - make sure you exit at the passport building there is one for permit exit only and they r quite far apart. Macau people are not friendly - be independent and know your location as dont expect themn to help you yea....

I visited Macau while staying in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is busy, bustling, and crowded. Macau is the opposite. Yes, there are lots of people, and buildings, and traffic, but it's a totally different vibe. Very chill.
