This amazing gem in the middle of the scenic area just a few Km from the airport had all the comforts in miniature version. I absolutely loved the chance to have a bubble bath under the"cloudy but beautiful sunset sky". The property includes so many extras that I did not get to take advantage of- if I had company I would have loved to have a bonfire in the campfire area that is set up so thoughtfully . From the welcome sign and bowl of fruit on the counter to the host Sybille meeting me and explaining that I should check out the walk to the dam (which was a lovely walk)- her friendliness was so heartwarming and greatly appreciated. I've always wanted to stay in a tiny home and this was better than I could have ever expected.

Located in Ondekaremba, a 1-hour drive from Windhoek, Zannier Omaanda provides accommodation set within a 9000-hectare private wildlife reserve. Excellent location close to the airport . Very friendly staff Naomi and Andy organised everything to our outmost satisfaction. We will return!

So quiet and peaceful, beautiful location and surroundings. Very nice hosts, great food. The Airport is only 10 minutes away, but it feels so remote, you will totally forget about that fact. The hut that I stayed in was spacious, clean and tastefully arranged, with everything you need - water, tee, coffee, ... Sitting on the terrace and watching the sunset and the animals (Kudus) just a few meters away was magical.

Location was great, close to Windhoek, but far enough away to make it feel special. Thoughtfully gave me a room close to the main hotel as I was travelling by myself. We had a fantastic, yummy dinner with the owners and it was a wonderful evening ! Room was big and very clean and comfortable. View fantastic !!! The farm was so nice stop to relax after longhaul flight! This place is for those who loves animals! Staff was really kind, and made a lot efforts for us. Room was clean and we had a lot space. The pool was clean, but there was no sunchairs.

Such a beautiful place that really blends in with nature . The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly. This place really gives off homely vibes . The walking trails are peaceful and there’s so much animals to see . The views from the restaurant is gorgeous and the bar has a super nice vibe. There’s was a small issue with booking.com and the a staff were kind enough to resolve the issue as fast as possible . Very kind hearted people .

A beautiful, quiet getaway. Communication was beyond great. We had questions that were answered super fast and when we needed to come late we were accommodated. I loved everything about my 1-week stay at the River Crossing Lodge! My chalet room was large and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom and shower overlooked one of the canyons of the game reserve, and the water pressure and temperature were excellent. The food selections offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were excellent, especially the dinners. The dinner meals were perfectly prepared and always delicious! The staff at the lodge were uniformly friendly and 100% professional. They are world class in terms of hospitality service. I suffered a back problem during my stay, on New Year's Day of all days, and they recommended a pharmacy in Windhoek that I could visit to pick up some pain patches and pain relievers. The location is perfect, as it is located about 37 km from Hosea Katako International Airport and you can arrange a shuttle from or to the airport for not too much cost (I hired my own car). It is also located close to downtown Windhoek, making it easy to drive into the city to pick up snacks and supplies if needed. But one of the best things I enjoyed about staying at this lodge is the proximity to the Avis Dam Nature Reserve. I went hiking there nearly everyday, where you have the opportunity to see lots of native birds (lesser flamingos, hamerkop) and other wildlife (baboons, rock hyraxes, various antelope). The River Crossing Lodge is its own game reserve, with game drives and guided walks, but the convenience of the Avis Dam Nature Reserve made it a great destination. I would definitely stay at the River Crossing Lodge again and highly recommend it.

The house is very well located, quiet from Windhoek but very near by. Very nice decoration we feel like at home. The room was very spacious, with an incredible view. The breakfast was nice too.
