They put a lot of effort to source their food from their own gardens and have a small farm to provide this food for guests. The beds are comfortable and clean. There is a troupe of spider monkeys that visited every day because of all the fruit trees they have planted on the grounds and there is a lot of birdlife everywhere. Most of all we enjoyed our boat tour organised by the hotel. This took us down the caño negro river where we saw many caiman, Jabiru storks, turtles, and even a very rare striated heron.The hotel staff and owners are friendly and welcoming. Super location. Every single one of the stuff was super friendly and accommodating. The owners are very eager to always upgrade and maintenance the entire property. The food is excellent, good choices. The stuff made us aware of animal sightings right on the grounds (sloth, monkey). Beautiful natural bird watching setup, great to take photos. Very relaxing atmosphere. The offered boat excursions were excellent. Great guides and a lot of wildlife to watch and photograph. If you like fishing - this is the place to go! We really enjoyed our conversations with the owners Marina and Pablo.
