Everybody had a comfortable place at the open fire place and at the huge dining table. Although the weather was really bad (very rainy) we stayed a long time outside under the very big covered porch. The kids had fun with the kicker table and we swam in the very large pool. Everywhere in the casa and the beautiful garden you can find little surprises, like a turtle, old treasures like nice pictures and old furniture. Every bedrooms different and decorated with love.This is definitely not an off-the-shelf house and we loved it.

A calm, peaceful city with lots of stunning buildings and loads of nice coffee shops and cafes. Busy during the day on a weekend but dies down at night. Seems very laid-back and safe and can be explored in a day. A weekend was enough for the city itself but could possibly use longer to explore places nearby such as Porto (40-50min on coach) and Guimaraes.

It is a very pretty city with lovely gardens. Easy to walk around everywhere. Getting the bus to Bom Jesus was easy and well worth going. Going by bus to Guimarães was easy and worth the ride.

Attempted to contact the property with no response. emailed the property many times, apartment was dirty especially the floor was extremely dirty, glass wall in shower that could easliy be hazardous issue sliding door was ridiculous need operating instruction's, step between the kitchen and the so called bedroom that could become a very fatal accident. partying on the lower balcony until 4am including screaming and laughing very annoying just freaks that have no respect and it really did not not matter because the host never responds. would not never book here again

Great for experiencing northern Portugal, from historic places to unique cuisine. Plenty of places to explore. Bom Jesus is a must, if you don’t have a car there are plenty of uber/bolt drivers in the area. If possible watch a football match at the unique and beautiful stadium!

A lovely city in Northern Portugal, easy to get around either walking or in car. Lots of history, culture, great restaurants. Best place we visited was the incredible Santuário do Bom Jesus do Monte. Also wonderful as the Braga cathedral, the oldest in Portugal.

The power outage was odd.
The power outage was odd. People were SO KIND Still able to buy a gas prepared dinner on that odd Monday. Cathedral is beautiful, mass music was outstanding, town square is so nice. TI is very helpful. I'd love to return Two days were a taste..certainly not enough!
