We stayed one night at The Runway Lodge in Pointe Larue (May 4–5), simply to be close to the airport—and it turned out to be more than just convenient. This small, charming pension delivers a warm welcome and genuine hospitality that makes even a short stay feel pleasant. It’s not a destination in itself, but as a last-night stopover before catching an early flight, it ticks all the boxes: clean, comfortable, friendly, and just a stone’s throw from the runway—minus the chaos. Ideal for travellers who prefer peace over panic before boarding.

Very big and beautiful house，with sea view and everything we need. It's near the airport，we could see the planes on the runway. Nearby there is a shop and take-away restaurant.

The host Julienne and Robert were celebrating a birthday and were so kind they had prepared me a plate of home cooked food, wine and cake. Robert gave me a ride to the ferry terminal for a fair rate afterwards. Stay here, they are very kind and their hospitality is incredible!

The bungalow house is quite, and clean. The hosts are kind and they gave us a lift heading to the airport. I will recommend this place if you need a place to stay the night before your departure as it was very close to the airport. Since our flight got cancelled due to system error we book this place; wallked 15mins from the airport and we are happy to get a 10hrs of sleep.Definitely will recommend this place as there is also 2mins walk supermarket nearby. Utensils and cookwares are available; they also provide free coffee sticks.

Set in Pointe Larue, Chez Payet Airport Guesthouse offers barbecue facilities and terrace. All rooms feature a kitchen and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available at this property. A little oasis of plants and bird life just 15 minutes from the airport. We drove ourselves in for an early-morning flight and it couldn't have been easier

Staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was great. The biggest upside of this stay was the location as it was 20 minutes on foot from the airport which was perfect for our last day.

The cleanliness was impeccable, and all the amenities were in excellent condition. The mountain and beach view from my room and the balcony was truly breathtaking and incredibly relaxing. What made this stay even more special was the wonderful people there. Jimmy, the owner, was not only nice and helpful but also incredibly friendly, making deep conversations a delightful part of the experience. Maya also, was truly awesome and added to the warm hospitality. As a bonus, they have two friendly dogs and two adorable cats on the property, the property had an amazing garden which made my stay even more enjoyable. I can't recommend this place enough for a perfect combination of comfort, stunning views, and fantastic people.
