Geneva is a very safe clean charming little town with lots of nice shopping and great restaurants. All within several blocks walking distance. It is a wonderful day trip from the Quad cities or Chicago. We went there for our anniversary and it was the perfect way to spend a day, grab a hotel, have some breakfast and return home. We ate ate at Niche. A little pricey but great service wonderful ambience and spectacular food. The cotton candy was a fun way to end the evening.

My Sister came in for 3 days to visit from Georgia.
My Sister came in for 3 days to visit from Georgia. Saint Charles is a wonderful place to visit. The exception was Pheasant Run. Traveler beware. If you decide to stay at this hotel, be aware of their "Sorry, computers are down" excuse

I was at the Lamplight horse show which was a lot of fun.
I was at the Lamplight horse show which was a lot of fun. The local merchants have interesting stores. It was very relaxing to go back to after long days outside with the horses. I bought some lovely Irish pottery and fun shirts.

Cute little town along the river.
Cute little town along the river. Downtown area has a lot of shops and antique stores and boutiques. Food was good anywhere we went! I recommend the ghoulish mortals store around Halloween. Flagship on the Fox is great for families.

Was in the area to visit family but had a few hours to kill and Potowamie park was fantastic. Could have spent a whole day there. So much to do with family. Also, St. Charles has a cute downtown area that's very walkable.

I was disappointed in this particular hotel.
I was disappointed in this particular hotel. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were flat. Continental breakfast was poor - lack of choices, no hot dishes, had to ask for limited food choices that were there. Taxi was easy to obtain from O'Hare airport. Mixed reviews on friendliness of employees - 1 good, 1 not so nice. Walked over to small diner - had great Italian Beefs for a good price!
