Nusa Penida is the largest of the three islands but remains the least developed. A one-day Nusa Penida tour is a common way to visit. Expect white-sand beaches, silky blue water and dramatic coastal cliffs that drop around 200 metres. Much of the island still feels untouched, with expansive natural scenery and striking viewpoints.
On a typical day tour you can choose to explore either the west or the east coast of the island. The west coast is more popular, as it is closer to the harbour. Along the west you may visit Angel’s Billabong and Broken Beach, and combine those with stops at Crystal Bay and Kelingking Beach. As you move between these sites, you will encounter panoramic viewpoints, distinctive rock formations and secluded beach scenes that showcase Nusa Penida’s raw coastal beauty.
