This three-hour walking tour takes you on an exploratory journey to Vienna's rich past. It begins outside the Hofburg at Michaelerplatz, a neo-baroque structure from the 13th century, where you'll see the Loos House designed by Austrian architect Adolf Loos.
Moving onto the stylish shopping districts Graben and Kohlmarkt, you will be able to admire the historical structures, such as the Stephansdom, a baroque church and a plague column. Saint Stephen's Cathedral, Capuchin Church and Saint Augustine's Church are also on the itinerary.
You will see the remains of the 12th-century city walls as you follow the inner city's edge on to Schwarzenbergplatz. Keep an eye out for the World War II memorial and giant fountain as well as the Belvedere Palace, among others. The final destination of this tour is Maria Theresien Platz and Museums Quartier. After the tour, continue your day browsing through the many museums nearby at your own pace.
