On this half-day tour, you’ll get the opportunity to take a boat ride in Hervey Bay and travel to whale-watching spots. You can enjoy the views from indoor and outdoor multi-level decks and relax during lunch or dinner.
You’ll board your boat in the Great Sandy Straits Marina and head to Platypus Bay, where you’ll be able to spot humpback whales breaching, pec- and tail-slapping, lunging and spy-hopping. Your expert guide will tell you about the whales’ behaviour and give you more insights into their life with the use of a hydrophone and underwater cameras.
You’ll also have the chance to encounter bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat and cruise around Fraser Island, where you might see a wild dingo.
