The History Museum of Catalonia is located in Port Vell, at the only preserved building of the old industrial port in Barcelona. The museum includes permanent and temporary exhibitions related to Catalonia's history that will immerse yourself in the Catalan culture. Discover the permanent exhibition: The Memory of a Country, an interactive record of the periods and characters that have shaped the history of Catalonia. Until 1st October 2023, visit the temporal exhibition Il·lustríssimes, dones que van dibuixar el segle XX, a collection of pieces made during 20th Century by thirty-five women linked to Catalonia and Obert per vacances to discover the origins of tourism in Catalonia.
Learn about Catalonia's history and head upstairs to enjoy one of the most outstanding views from Barcelona's Port. Enjoy the breeze and relax while having a cocktail or some tapas at the Mediterranean restaurant on the terrace (not included in the price).
