For this sweet experience, you’ll head to The Chocolatarium in Edinburgh’s characterful Old Town to explore the history of chocolate. A local guide will accompany you through the facilities as you learn how the cocoa beans are transformed into velvety chocolate. You’ll also have the chance to create your own chocolate in the shape of Edinburgh Castle, Greyfriars Bobby or the Loch Ness Monster.

In the tasting room, you’ll find over 30 varieties to sample from both local and international chocolatiers. You can try strange and interesting flavours of chocolate like haggis, gin and chilli as well as vegan varieties.
