This guided tour takes you to some of the actual locations of scenes appearing in the TV series, ‘Outlander’.
The first two stops are at the Midhope Castle and Blackness Castle, which were used as the Lallybroch Castle and the Headquarters of Black Jack Randall in the TV series. The next stop is at the royal burgh of Linlithgow to visit Linlithgow Palace. Although used as Wentworth Prison in the TV series, this was actually a place of retreat and relaxation for the Scottish monarchs.
You’ll then visit the 14th-century mansion, Callendar House Museum, before heading to the coastal village of Culross in Fife. During your free time at the village, you’ll be able to walk along cobblestone streets sandwiched by yellow-coloured walls – a prime example of a 17th-century village in Scotland. Your final destination is the estate of Hopetoun House, where you can also stroll around and hike through the trails.
