Now deep in the Borders, you will be immersed in its traditions, lively ceremonies, and song. You pass the mighty Eildon Hills to arrive in Melrose, where you’ll have time explore the town, historic abbey and the birthplace of rugby sevens' birthplace.

You will then visit three fascinating medieval ruins, once destroyed by the English and later rebuilt by Scots before meeting their tragic fate in the 1560s. A stop at the William Wallace Monument follows, paying tribute to Scotland’s legendary Guardian.
