Your tour will start with a train trip from Thessaloniki to Kalambaka, from where you’ll explore all six of the Meteora monasteries, with admission to the interiors of three.     A strict dress code is required to visit the monasteries. For women, please make sure that your knees are covered for the entire duration of your visit. Trousers, shorts and sleeveless clothing are not permitted. For men, sleeveless clothing and shorts that do not reach the knee are prohibited.

    Please note that the tour guide will be all the time with you except inside the holy monasteries. The previous program is valid from Monday to Friday.

    During the weekend the transportation from Thessaloniki to Kalambaka and back is with a combination of train and bus.

    Please note that the departure location is based on the booking day, as follows: - On weekdays: departure by bus from Thessaloniki at 09:30, from Macedonia Intercity Bus Station, Giannitson 244, Thessaloniki 546 28, Greece, and arrive in Trikala Intercity Bus Station, where you change busses and take the bus for Kalambaka. You have to stop at Fournos stop in order to meet the staff at this bus stop. The staff will be holding a signboard with your name on it - On Saturdays and Sundays: the train departs from Thessaloniki railway station at 07:04, and arrives at Palaeofarsalos station at approximately 09:07, where you will take the bus that will continue the trip to Kalabaka departing at 11:00
