On this guided walking tour in the heart of Naples, you’ll have the opportunity to take in the warm atmosphere of the city and explore one of its oldest neighborhoods.

You’ll start the tour in Piazza del Gesù and proceed along ‘Spaccanapoli’, a long narrow street that cuts the historic center in half. You’ll get to admire the various architectural styles of San Domenico Maggiore church and square, walk past the statue of the Nile God and visit Sansevero Chapel to see its famous Cristo Velato (Veiled Christ) statue.

After a quick coffee break with a traditional Neapolitan espresso, you’ll have the chance to discover Piazza San Gaetano – one of the oldest city squares, once home to the Greek agora and the Roman forum later on. Other highlights along the itinerary will include San Lorenzo and San Paolo Maggiore churches as well as the 13th-century cathedral dedicated to San Gennaro – the patron saint of Naples.
