This six-hour hiking tour will take you to the summit of Sicily's Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. You'll first receive a safety briefing from your expert guide, before boarding a cable car to ascend to an altitude of 2,500 metres above sea level, offering panoramic views along the way.
You'll then transfer to a 4x4 bus and continue up the mountain to reach a height of 2,900 metres near the Torre del Filosofo. From here, you'll begin your two-hour trek through lunar landscapes and lava fields, stopping for breaks along the way to admire the scenery. You'll then make a final push to the summit before you descend through sandbanks and a lava flow channel on your way back to the bus and cable car.
