This excursion will take you to two Greco-Roman art centers in Sicily with rountrip transportation from Palermo.
You’ll visit the Valley of the Temples in In Agrigento. Here, you can find well-conserved Hellenic period Doric temples, including the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Heracles and the Temple of Concordia. In the small town of Piazza Armerina, you’ll visit Villa Romana del Casale – a Roman villa that features beautiful floor and wall mosaics that display various styles and narrative themes.
As you visit each site, you’ll have an opportunity to gain a deeper perspective of the area’s history and ancient traditions.
