On this tour, you'll be able to discover the upper city of Bergamo and its history. Starting from Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe, your guide will take you to Rocca Castle for a breathtaking view of the lower part of the city and the nearby valley.
Next, you'll visit Piazza Vecchia, the central square of the upper town, surrounded by ancient buildings and the famous civic tower. After a quick walk, you will reach Piazza Duomo for a view of the Romanesque architecture of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Here, you will have the chance to enter the cathedral, the baptistery and the Colleoni Chapel.
Later, you will have some time to take a stroll on Via Corsarola before heading to the 14th-century Cittadella. Round off your trip with a walk to Colle Aperto for a panoramic view over the city.
