On this one-day tour from Rome, you'll get a chance to visit the ruins of Pompeii in the city of Naples. You'll be able to spend a day exploring the UNESCO-listed site and learn about its history. There'll be chances for you to see the homes, bathhouses and outdoor theaters that were buried under ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Additionally, you can also climb the slopes of Mount Vesuvius in summer. During winter, when Mount Vesuvius is closed, you'll visit the city of Positano and have free time with a panoramic bus tour of the Amalfi Coast.

    Please note that Vesuvius cannot be accessed from late November to March.

    Please note that in case of rare inclement weather conditions or strikes during the summer months, the crater of Mount Vesuvius may remain closed to visitors. On such days, you will visit the city of Positano and have free time with a panoramic bus tour of the Amalfi Coast.

    Please be advised that in the case of events beyond their control, the local guides may need to adjust the itinerary to ensure the safety, quality, and satisfaction of your travel experience.

    The tour cannot accommodate pushchairs, baby carriages, luggage or suitcases.

    From early November to March, Mount Vesuvius is closed and replaced with a visit to Positano. However, it remains open during the Christmas period, from 26 December to 2 January.
