On this full-day tour, you’ll travel from Florence to some of the highlights of the Tuscan region – Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa. Your first stop will be Siena, home of the famous Palio Horse Race. Here, you’ll embark on a guided walking tour of key landmarks like Palazzo Tolomei, the beautiful cathedral and the main square, Piazza del Campo.
If you’ve selected the option with a winery lunch, you’ll visit a destination along the way to San Gimignano where you’ll dine on Italian classics like bruschetta with salami and cheese and tagliatelle with ragù. Arriving in San Gimignano, you’ll have free time to explore this charming medieval city and UNESCO World Heritage Site at your own pace.
The final destination of your tour will be Pisa where you can view the famous Leaning Tower as well as the cathedral and baptistry.
