On this full-day trip from Amman, you'll get to explore the ancient city of Petra with an expert guide.
After arriving at the archaeological site, you'll walk through the Siq, a 1.2-kilometre-long canyon through the red rock mountains. As you make your way through the sandstone walls, you’ll pass various rock carvings, such as temples, tombs, amphitheatres and more. Along the way, you can learn about the Nabateans – the Arabian peoples who built Petra in the fourth century BCE. After your tour, you’ll head back to Amman.
