On this trip, you will first visit Olorgesailie, a pre-historic site renowned as the factory of stone tools. Located along Magadi Road, this site will help you understand the prominence and accumulation of human tools representing actual camping places of early men. Here, you will be able to understand the evolution of man.
Next, you will visit Lake Magadi, a well-known site for wading birds, including Pelicans and Flamingos. You will also be able to see Giraffes, Ostriches, Antelopes, Hyenas, Wildebeests and other animals. The pin-coloured lake spans across 100 square kilometres and will be an ideal place to explore the region’s flora and fauna.
