On this community-based cycling tour, you'll have the chance to see the Battambang countryside, visit temples and meet local residents. After a hotel pickup and short briefing, you'll begin your cycling adventure. On a rural road, you'll first visit a resident blacksmith and learn techniques to make knives, sickles, axes and more. You'll then visit a factory that makes khrolan, a popular sticky rice snack. Before leaving the area, you'll explore Wat Samrong Khnong, one of the largest Buddhist temples in Battambang.
While cycling through the countryside, you'll stop to rest at a local rice farm, primary school and fruit farm. For snacks and samples, you'll visit three different factories that make rice paper for spring rolls, fish paste and banana chips. To round out the tour, you'll then explore the 1100-year-old temple, Ek Phnom.
